2 articles on the possible impending 2008 GOP disaster
Newt Gingrich the Fantasy Candidate
I know many conservatives are now hyping up Newt Gingrich for the 2008 Presidential election because of his recent rhetoric. While it may be true his recent rhetoric has been right on the mark on many issues, talking the talk and walking the walk are two different things. When it comes to actually getting things done Newt is M.I.A. The moment he gets into office all the promises he made that got him there are suddenly a distant memory as he does what will make him popular among the Washington Elite.
No that is not Marilyn Monroe but a link to the possible Rudy disaster of 2008
Exploiting the attacks on 9/11 Giuliani has created an illusion of himself being "America's Mayor" well in reality while he was a great Mayor for NYC, his policies would be a diaster for this country. There is virtually no difference between him and a Washington Democrat. As Mayor he made NYC an aslyum for illegals, and openly admits that his whole campaign will be nothing back flip-flops to please naive GOP voters. Those flip-flops will instantly be reversed if he ever gets to the Oval office.
We need to wake up our fellow conservatives who have been hoodwinked into believing only candidates that follow the Bush mold of "compassionate conservatism" can win. We have seen the results of "compassionate conservatism", which is no compassion at all for the average hard-working law biding citizens of this nation.
So far the only possible candidate who offers real hope and has a RECORD to back that up is Tom Tancredo who speaks the truth elqouently and without fear from the Washington establishment.“You must accept the truth from whatever source it comes”- Maimonides

I agree with this 100%. We have got to somehow get new thinkers and new blood into these positions. If not we are just doing the same we have always done. I not saying all national politicians are the bad guys but most of them are and especially, almost all, in the real power positions.

2008 GOP Disaster
I totally Agree!!!
We need new names on the ballots.
No Bushes, McCain or Gringrich and none that follow the same thinking.
Especially the thinking about Illegal Immigration.
In my book...Tom Tancredo is the way to go."When injustice become law, resistance becomes duty." Thomas Jefferson
