2016 WORKER-PROTECTION IMMIGRATION REPORT CARD

Tue, FEB 9th 2016 @ 3:10 pm EST by Roy Beck

Time to cast your vote. Looking over years of actions and statements (especially the most recent), we assess the candidates' overall approach to immigration with the single grades shown below.

Before you vote, please click here to see the ratings for each candidate on the 10 different immigration issues we used to compile the overall grades.

Keep in mind that NumbersUSA does NOT endorse candidates.
We know you will use many issues to decide which candidate gets your support. The grades below are about only one issue, where the candidates stand on increasing or reducing the total number of illegal and legal immigrants.

Regardless of whom you support, I hope you will be sure to attend one of the caucuses and keep immigration issues in the middle of the discussions. Press your favorite candidates to get better on immigration.

Here is where you can find information about caucuses near you:

Our Grade Card Team has met nearly every week since last spring to assess every new statement by the candidates and weighed them with past actions and statements. The more recent ones carry far more weight than older ones. We welcome candidates who have shifted their positions and improved their grades over the last year. (Read more on our grading criteria:

You don't have to accept our conclusions. You can click on any candidate photo and see all the statements and actions that we used, and then you can make your own assessment.
There is a tendency for people to focus almost entirely on amnesty issues. But we feel there are nine other very important immigration policies that are having -- and will continue to have -- a huge impact on our quality of life in America. I hope you will take a look at all 10 issues and the ratings on those.

Thanks for all you can do to push politicians to give us a controlled immigration policy in the national interest.
