287g cities
Dear Folks,
Our city is holding it's first Forum to discuss the issue of illegal immigration in our city. I'd like to present them with a list of current cities and towns implementing 287g. Does anyone here have that info.? I'd greatly appreciate your help!

Where's your city? I would hope the elected officials would opt to participate in 287g.

This link has some information, although outdated. Pages 5 and 6 deal with the 287(g) program.
Good luck

Our city aldermen will be discussing 287g tonight! We have heard that someone from the Chicago Mexican Counsel and other protesters will be there to fight it. Our mayor has said that we WILL apply.
Should be a very interesting evening...to say the least. I'm going to the meeting to see first hand what happens. I don't know if we will all get a chance to speak or not.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Fedup...
Good luck and I hope you get a chance to voice your concerns!!!!!!
Yes, I'm sure the opposition will also be there tomorrow night for ours. I shouldn't have a difficult time getting a chance to speak - we'll be lucky if a handful of people show up. Citizens will call into the talk shows all fired up, but when it comes to putting their faces out there, that starts getting alittle scary. We know drugs and gangs are coming into the city and that can really intimidate people - especially since the previous mayor told police to back off of the illegal issue. We've got the greedy horse farmers, contractors and drug lords - that makes a pretty powerful trio. Up until now though, they haven't really had to face the OPPOSITION!!
