3 "local" endorsements for Joseph Turner

[b]These endorsements are from local business owners that know the good side of Joseph Turner better than his opponents hoped.

These are from the "Opinion"section in the [/b http://www.sbsun.com/voiceofpeople/ci_4587837

Does the San Bernardino Teachers Association have any shame? I received its mailer on behalf of the incumbents, praising them for their "proven leadership."
By proven leadership, does the union mean a graduation rate of only 42 percent? Or is it referring to the fact that 75 percent of our children are not even proficient or to their support of policies that encourage teachers to tolerate being cursed at by unruly students?

Surely, it wasn't referring to recent attempts to introduce ebonics into our classrooms or the discussion about giving illegal immigrants the right to vote in elections. Was it referring to the $15 million the incumbents wasted on a software program that never worked?

Maybe, it was referring to the fact that the incumbents neglected to inform the public about a toxic mercury spill in the district's nutritional center, where they prepare the lunches not only for children in our schools, but for numerous day-care centers throughout the area.

The leadership exhibited by the incumbents is proven to be terribly incompetent. I am voting for Louise Ayala, Amanda Jacobs and Joseph Turner for San Bernardino school board.

    Supports Turner

Yes, there are racists running for the San Bernardino school board, but Joe Turner is not one of them. The racists are Teresa Parra and Elsa Valdez. They support preferential treatment for Latinos, primarily Latino illegal immigrants, at the expense of all other ethnicities.

Valdez is a member of the Latino supremacist group MEChA. Its motto is "For our race, everything; for those outside of the race, nothing."

Additionally, the Southern Poverty Law Center is hardly in position to determine what organization is a racist hate group, since it supports racism by supporting amnesty for illegal immigrants.

Because Joseph Turner supports law-abiding citizens, legal immigrants and equal opportunity regardless of race, we have endorsed him for the San Bernardino school board.

    Higher standards

Joe Turner is an absolutely wonderful person, as is his family. The San Bernardino school board needs his expertise instead of the heavy influence of MEChA in our schools.

Our children's future depends on a higher standard of education, which Turner most assuredly would bring to San Bernardino schools.
