6 Numbers From a Fox News Poll Should Have the GOP Pumped & Hillary Stumped
6 Numbers From a Fox News Poll Should Have the GOP Pumped & Hillary StumpedBy Michael Hausam
7 hours ago
The key points from a newly-released bipartisan Fox News Poll:
- Clinton is at her lowest favorability rating in 6 years. (49 percent favorable, 45 unfavorable).
- Republican party positive/negative numbers are split at 45%/45%, significantly changed from 30%/63% last Fall.
- More Democrats disapprove of their party than approve by a 46% to 44% margin.
- Republicans’ view of their own party has improved from 62% approving to 84% since last Fall.
- Independents’ approval rating of the GOP is up from 14% to 30% since October.
- Only 42% of people approve of the job President Obama is doing; 51% disapprove.
The changes highlighted in this poll have occurred for pretty obvious reasons: Despite the good press she’s received, Hillary’s stint as Secretary of State concluded with virtually no one being able to name a distinct accomplishment, and Obamacare’s clear failures continue to mar its reputation.
