7/29/10 Illegal aliens, activists will show up in AZ w/out ID

......to be spiteful and prove their arguments that SB1070 is unlawful and racist. They're trying to make AZ police officers screw up and arrest a citizen proving their argument's valid. This is wrong! I wish Arizona peace and good luck. I hope instead of focusing on idiots (illegals, hispanic organizations, hispanic enablers and activists) trespassing Arizona, focus on businesses who hires illegal aliens and start fining them HEAVILY. Prove to these criminal and law breaker lovers that the SB1070 also hit businesses who hire illegals! don't fall for their traps on July 29, 2010, Arizona. Please. God Bless and many are supporting you, including me.

If I were a police officer I would stop no one on that day, except for robbers and murderers. I would not give them the satisfaction. I was talking to a friend today that thinks this law is racial. She said if she was stopped she would problbly not be detained as she spoke English. She said if someone from Canada was stopped they would not be questioned. I told her that someone from Canada would not forget their ID that says they are from Canada. If you were in Arizona you would not leave your ID home either. They just don't seem to realize that you willl only be stopped for a crime you already committed. I told her that they know when they come here that they are illegal. If they choose to stay without documentation, that should not be on us.

Good point. I hope the AZ police officers don't give them the satification of arresting protestors except if they become violent and block areas and put up a fight when asked to leave the premises that day. That's what the protestors of illegal aliens and their enablers, activists and drug dealers will try to do, egg these officers to handcuff them and tell the world "see... how this law trumps their civil rights, and treat them inhumane", although, illegals are criminals and do not have any rights in this country. they're bunch of spiteful ingrates with no regards to the rule of law. America should wake up.

None of their stupid protests have worked yet anyway with anyone with 2 live brain cells still connected. The more they protest, the more Americans see them and hear them and read their hateful signs and listen to their stupid advocates and supporters and the more the Truth About Illegal Immigration gets out and hits home with the typical American no matter who they are, what race they are, what national origin they are and says to themselves "eeew, we don't want that in our country", and the next day call their politicians to get these people out of here. So I say, protest away! Show us who you are, let the people see you and hear you and watch you, because when they do, they will want you to depart our nation by all means necessary, whatever it takes. So show yourselves illegal aliens! Protest!

I don't think law enforcement will play their little reindeer games.
They have become very irritating and insulting.
They break the law, they get arrested. No I.D LOL they stay in Joes jail till their identified and cleared.
If their illegal, the new law bites them. Its a no win for the illegals or their
    band of foolish supporters.
Law enforcement will act with class and style.

Police, activists prepare days ahead of Ariz. law

PHOENIX – The sheriff of Arizona's most populous county is making room in a vast outdoor jail and determined to round up illegal immigrants to fill it. Police from the U.S.-Mexico border to the Grand Canyon are getting last-minute training. And protests and marches are planned throughout Phoenix.

Arizona's new immigration law takes effect Thursday, creating a potentially volatile mix of police, illegal immigrants and thousands of activists, many planning to show up without identification as a show of solidarity.

At least one group plans to block access to federal offices, daring officers to ask them their immigration status.

"Our message for that day is: 'Don't comply, don't buy,'" said activist Liz Hourican, whose group, CodePink, plans to block the driveway for immigration offices in downtown Phoenix.

As both sides prepare, a federal judge is deciding whether to step in and block the law. It requires officers enforcing other laws to check a person's immigration status if they suspect the person is in the country illegally. It also bans illegal immigrants from soliciting work in a public place.

Police across the state scrambled on Tuesday to train officers, including on how to avoid racial profiling, and plan for a potential influx of detainees.

The hardest-line approach is expected in the Phoenix area, where Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio plans his 17th crime and immigration sweep. He plans to hold the sweep, regardless of any ruling by U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton.

Arpaio, known for his tough stance against illegal immigration, plans to send about 200 deputies and volunteers out, looking for traffic violators, people wanted on criminal warrants and others. He's used that tactic before to arrest dozens of people, many of them illegal immigrants.

"We don't wait. We just do it," he said. "If there's a new law out, we're going to enforce it."

He said that the space he made in the complex of military surplus tents can handle 100 people, and that he will find room for more if necessary.

Elsewhere in the state, police officials said they didn't expect any dramatic events. They were busy wrapping up training sessions this week, with some agencies saying that untrained officers will not be allowed on the streets.

Many of the state's 15,000 police officers have been watching a DVD released this month that signs that might indicate a person is an illegal immigrant are speaking poor English, looking nervous or traveling in an overcrowded vehicle. It warned that race and ethnicity do not.

Some agencies added extra materials, including a test, a role-playing exercise or a question-and-answer session with prosecutors.

Critics of the law among police chiefs remain, saying that the law is so vague that no amount of training could eliminate potential confusion.

"Am I going to sit here and say I think every officer has a clear understanding of the law when they leave the training?" Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villasenor said. "No, because I think the law is poorly constructed."

Arizona's law gives police two options to confirm whether a detainee is an illegal immigrant.

Virginia Kice, a spokeswoman for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, declined to comment on preparations or the role federal authorities would play in enforcing the law, except to say ICE "focuses first on criminal aliens who pose a threat to our communities."

Arpaio vowed to arrest all illegal immigrants and make them spend time in his jail. Other police officials said they'd try to get the Border Patrol involved as often as possible to avoid the time and cost of booking the detainees into jail.

Prosecutors are also preparing for a potential influx of cases. They are reminding officers that they are required to explain the circumstances of the original stop, why they suspected the person was an illegal immigrant and any comments made by the suspect.

A march from the state Capitol is planned at 4:30 a.m., followed by a prayer service, a rally outside Arpaio's office and later that afternoon a concert outside a Maricopa County jail, according to the Los Angeles-based National Day Laborer Organizing Network.

The protesters both from Arizona and elsewhere plan to show up without identification and hold peaceful rallies.

"It's defiance, to see if they want to come and arrest those people," said Pablo Alvarado, the executive director of the NDLON. "We dare them to come and ask."

In Mexico, the nation's Foreign Relations Department issued a statement Tuesday saying it was stepping up consular aid for its citizens in Arizona, in preparation for implementation of the law. The department said Mexico has sent additional personnel and resources to its five consulates in Arizona to provide personal and legal help and "is prepared to implement any immediate measures necessary to protect the rights of Mexicans in Arizona, regardless of their immigration status," according to the statement.

"eeew, we don't want that in our country", and the next day call their politicians to get these people out of here.
I agree, they do make our point for us. Demanding this demanding that.
Calling us racist? All they care about is themselves, not America.

They really do. The more Americans who see illegal aliens on the news, the more Americans will see the truth about illegal immigration and make their own demands to end it and get these people out of here and back to their home countries where they belong.

I hope every cop has a video cam trained on these malignant twits, I hope Americans see their idiocy and I sincerely hope the judge let's the law stand.

Think about it: If illegal aliens don't have to show ID, why should anyone here legally have to show ID? Can you imagine the chaos that would ensue?!?!

Let them hoist themselves on their own petards and let every state enact their own SB1070. YES WE CAN!

I am hoping that there are video cameras recording all over the place for this.

I want the legal side to be covered if things go ugly, and for there to be plenty of video evidence of the provocation, criminal activity, whatever so that it can't be "used against them in a court of popularity."

If you're going to be there, be recording! Please, for the officers and the law.
I don't care who you are, how you got here, what color you are, what language/dialect you speak... If you didn't get here legally then you don't belong here. Period.
