They steal tabs off of other cars plates and put them on their own. You have to razor blade them if you want to keep your tabs around here.

Here in Arkansas a person has to show proof of insurance in order to to tag a vehicle. However once you get the tags you can cancel the insurance and get a refund on the unused part of the premium.
My daughters' car was totaled by a carload of mexicans (probably illegal) who sped away and parked their car on the street,called the police and said their car had been stolen.
She had insurance but still had to pay the deductable.

Last year when we bought a car, the dealer put the temporary tag in the back glass & told us to keep the car locked.

Seems he'd had a tag ripped off by an illegal who wrecked a couple of months later.

I had 2 license tags in less than one year, stolen off my car, in Miami. The officers who stopped me, told me that it was because I had a 'good insurance' tag on them.

arrrrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

So the thieves, whoever they were, stole my tags, cause I obeyed the law and had insurance, AND paid for the sticker.....THEN, I got to wait in line and pay MORE money for 2 more tags and stickers.

Yep, I always razor blade them so those a$$es cant take it . I know a lot of people who have had to spend frustrating time at the DMV just because someone ripped off their registration sticker.
