    I suspect a Bomb. Perhaps some PROGRESSIVE environmental terrorist liberal who wants to close down domestic drilling. Gotta wonder if we will ever know the cause of this disaster.

    I find it difficult to believe, due to logistics, that a bomb could have been set by some environmental nutbag. This rig was 20 miles offshore and could only have been approached by boat. Water depth is over 3,000 feet. One would have to be very skilled, professional and stealthy to pull off something like this.

    The Timing

    The Timing of this is extremely dubious. You KNOW someone does NOT want us drilling for our own Oil. This is almost definately eco terrorism to get us to stop drilling, to hurt our economy/coastline and to hurt our ability at energy independence...
