    Advice from those long gone

Nobody from 1776, 1850, 1900, 1950 would believe what is happening in our land today. It's had me worried, angry and saddened. I feel I live in an alternate universe where up is down and right is wrong. Our country is in danger but does anything I do about it matter?

In desperation I thought maybe a bit of peace of mind or some wisdom might be gained by meditating. I especially longed to hear the voices of those who preceded me here. So I picked a bouquet of roses, sat them outside on a picnic table. And on a very quiet evening I tuned in to the silence and listened.

Before I tell you the answer I received, try it yourself. Find a quiet peaceful, beautiful spot and sit awhile and try to tune in to the words, to the advice of your fathers, your grandfathers, your great aunts and uncles. Are they calming you down? Are they encouraging you? What are they telling you to do? Listen deeply. Whose words do you imagine you hear? I wonder if you'll get the message I got, which I will tell later.

Mine are pretty peeved right now! Not only because the illegals have gotten as far as they have in the invasion, but also our part in it then and now. They call us a generation of scared, pansy waste fools. Who do nothing but give lip service to the matter and will not unite and take to the streets. They are disgusted at American's lack of backbone.

    Just Say No,

The founding fathers have rolled all the dirt off.

I know what they are telling us. It's loud and clear! Protect the America we fought so hard to create.

I hear my grandfather saying, "When there are people who won't work living off the efforts of others...we're in real trouble" circa 1945

I hear my father saying "One day will find us paying as much for ss taxes as we do in income taxes"....circa 1946-7

it's sad to think people won't listen -- we're losing our country and the majority doesn't know it and doesn't care

as for my ancestors, I feel very close to them now even though they are six generations away and I never knew them -- I can feel their pain

I was just talking to someone about that very same thing the other day. Our ancestors who fought and died for this country just so we could have the finer and better things in life that they didn't have, has got to be turning over in their graves shouting............
IMPEACH, IMPEACH NOW BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE. IF YOU DON'T IMPEACH, THEN YOU BEST RUN LIKE HELL..
Nobody has or can really imagine in their wildest dreams what all has been done to this country over the past 60 or 70 years behind the peoples backs.
    Seriously.

ruthiela - problem is, there is nowhere to run.

While I would love to impeach Bush, next in line is no better.

These plans have been underway for a long time. Slowly over many years they have been chipping away at the constitution and our rights. It is only now that it is becoming blantantly obvious.
