Thread: Alert!!! Strive Act On The House Floor Next Week

I just heard on Lou Dobbs that the Strive Act will be on the House floor next week for debate. We need to kill this thing, and quick.

The fax machine is already primed and ready to go! Time for this horrid legislation to die.

I can't believe they've got the guts to do this after that last disaster. Well, we'll beat it down just like we did the last one.

What gets me is putting the amnesty and guestworker provisions together - that just brings out the enemies of both, doubling the protest. NumbersUSA doesn't think this will go anywhere, but the audacity is still annoying and I'm going to keep at least one eye open till it's over.

Well, I don't think they would put it up for debate if they didn't think they had some chance of getting it passed. Flake and Guiterriez have been working this thing for a while now. And they only had 3 out of 12 witnesses in the judiciary hearing the other day who were against this thing.

What gripes me the most is all the time they spend thinking about and working on ways to legalize the invaders while our babies are being raped and murdered and all the other preventable crimes perpetrated by Illegals continue.

Then there is Boosh who is a renegade dictator and needs to be impeached but instead of dealing with or discussing the matter congress works on ways to legalize criminals.

In otherwords without going into this any farther I feel instead of working on pressing issues which would be for our protection and best interest,those problems have been ignored on many fronts so congress can continue to work on more ways to further screw us !!

I wonder if we can keep Reps. Flake (just love that name...) and Gutierrez' fax machines working overtime in the next week or so?

I suppose the prudent thing to do would be to wait until W gets back on and then let him organize a more planned response, yes?

Yes, I think we should let William get something organized for us. I just wanted to make sure everyone got a heads up.

Here's how I see it and mind you I could be wrong , I feel like Numbers USA, that it is not going to go anywhere, I think the pro-illegal and special interest groups have been pushing, hounding and harrassing congress to the point they had to do something on a comphrehensive bill because of the deportations.

They are using this to make it look like they are trying to do something, I think they know it will land in the same place the other bill did, the shredder. This will appease the OBL's (a little).

BUT I didn't think the trucks would be rolling down the highway right now either, I thought congress took care of that, so Moral of the story you can not be too careful and they can not be trusted.
