    ALIPAC MASS WEB TRAFFIC ALERT

    Friends,

    A lot of people are hearing about and talking about ALIPAC in the country tonight and that is why we have over 8,000 pages of the site being viewed per hour right now which is very high.

    We pay a lot of money each month for our hosting to be able to handle the load. However, if the current high volume continues to climb we could hit some boundaries.

    Please post me a note or PM me if you experience any slow responses or trouble during this high traffic time.

    Should the site go down, give us an hour or so to get her back running.

    I just did a one minute refresh and counted over 250 hits...that's over 14,000 an hour.

    W. Having no problem here and have noticed the HIGH VOLUME of guests

    Looks like a lot of people have been noticing more of what is happening here in America . I have been having a tough time calling into Washington. Phones have been busy and it is taking a lot longer to get confirmations back for e-mails I sent into Washington offices.

    Hold on to your hats folks! The influx is increasing and we are now humming along at over 9,000 pages of alipac.us viewed per hour.

    That is approximately 150+ pages per minute or about 2.5 pages per second.

    We should be OK, we once handled Busiest Hour: 09:00 - 09:59 on July 2, 2008 17,349

    But for us to be ranging over 9 k per hour is a high ambient level.
