Thread: Fox news is blasting CA for in-state tuition for illegals

Anyone seen the coverage about the lawsuit against CA for giving illegal aliens in-state tuition grants while charging Americans more to go to school? Fox is hitting them hard on this today.

I have not seen the coverage on Fox, but did read about the lawsuit. My source was the San Jose Murkey News which is so pro-illegal that it outsources it's editorial writing to Vicente Fox.

The story about the suit was in the news section of the paper and did present all the facts. However, the story included a small information box titled "How to Apply" which provided detailed information to help illegals apply for in-state tuition. Can you imagine?

Good lord, I hope the suit is successful and that the names of all illegal immigrants who applied for this outrageous fleecing of California taxpayers are forwarded to authorities so that deportation can be arranged!

GOOD!! I didn't see it but commend FoxNews for covering it and taking a stand.

If you're an illegal alien, then you will be deported, not educated. PERIOD.

I just watched the taped version of "The Heartland with John Kasich" and he had a segment on this where he was BLASTING the guest who DEFENDED this action. He said that California's STATE law did NOT supercede FEDERAL LAW.

I'm happy to hear that it's getting national coverage and people are angry about it. You know that here in SJ, there are publically funded charter schools for ADULTS (mostly hispanics)? Now that really isn't right. Of course the MERC did a big write-up about it praising it.

From what I've read, it costs out-of-state students FOUR TIMES AS MUCH for tuition as in-state students. That they are charging American citizens four times as much to go to school as they're charging illegal immigrants has got to be one of the outrages of all-time. How much more do they think the American people can stand before we explode in rage. We already passed Proposition 187 here in California in 1996 by a 60-to-40% margin to deny any government benefits to illegals. And then, one liberal judge simply over-turned the vote of the people. How much more do they think we'll stand for?
