In San Diego, every shool day of the year, hundreds if not thousands of school age MEXICAN NATIONAL children cross the border with Mexico at San Ysidro and Otay Mesa in order to attend, at U.S. TAXPAYER expense, public schools in numerous San Diego school districts, all with the knowledge and blessing of the local school administrators, school boards and local govts.

Along with the children of illegals living here, the border crossing kids everyday receive free breakfast/lunches at TAXPAYER expense. They receive teaching, tutoring and special counseling in SPANISH at TAXPAYER expense. They even receive free healthcare at TAXPAYER expense for everything from the sniffles to baby deliveries. That's right, in San Diego, there is a program that provides pre and post natal medical care as part of a program designed to cater directly to the huge numbers of young MEXICAN NATIONAL girls of school age who wind up pregnant before they graduate high school.

Many school teachers regularly teach their classes in SPANISH, totally ignoring STATE MANDATED LAWS barring bi-lingual education as part of a program they have conveniently titled MIGRANT EDUCATION. At many schools in the South County area, marching bands have been replaced by MARIACHI BANDS, with full MEXICAN regalia, the colorful suits with the fuzzy balls hanging down and the giant brimmed sombreros. No more marching bands, once a staple of high school life, to make way for the huge numbers of MEXICAN children on both sides of the border attending schools here.

It is not unusual, in fact it is commonplace to see the MEXICAN FLAG flying not only inside of classrooms and gymnasiums, but also in front of the schools, many above the AMERICAN FLAG! Classrooms are commonly outfitted with MEXICAN colors and decorations, MEXICAN posters, MEXICAN textbooks, etc. If you were to enter these schools, given the fact of seeing these adornments and the almost exclusive use of SPANISH, you might not know you were even in the United States, all of this with the blessing and encouragement of local school administrators. One of four San Diego Teachers of the Year winners for this year, teaches his classes in almost exclusively in SPANISH. Although he is from El Salvador and not MEXICO, even though he is in the U.S., he feels that being as so many of his pupils are from MEXICO and HISPANIC, it his duty to teach them in SPANISH and to teach them HISPANIC/MEXICAN culture and history and not U.S. history.

So now you know why San Diego is now more commonly known as MEXICO'S FINEST CITY. Is it any wonder that when these children, along with the huge numbers of children of illegals reach college age, they demand in-state tuition fees? They have been catered to almost since kindergarten, so they feel it is their right to get anything and everything they want, illegal or not.

Personally, if a few more states would defy federal laws, we might make progress faster. There is no reason the Federal government should dictate whether or not colleges supported by state funds should give illegals a free education at the expense of American taxpayers and students anyway.

We have to get the illegals out of the country so we can assimmilate legal immigrants successfully and ensure sustainable livelihoods for all Americans and our Legal Immigrant Friends.

The same thing happens in El Paso, TX. We also send them to college. In fact, after 9-11, the borders were monitored more carefully and those college students couldn't get to class on time because it took too long for them to get across so we put them up in hotels at taxpayers expense until the delays stopped.
