    All call for any Illinoisans -FAIR offers help to organize

    I am posting this in the activism thread. But I also want to give a head's up to any or all Illinoisans that it's time for us to get active. Numerous states around us are looking at ordinances. Guess where they will come if they are enacted? Bingo.

    People are starting to organize in Illinois. We have a chance to dethrone Dick Durbin and put in people who are against illegal immigration. Here is a person to contact to help you get started in your area. Rosanna Pulido is a real go-getter.

    Are You Interested in Starting or Joining an Immigration Reform and Enforcement Group in Illinois with the help of FAIR?

    The battle to secure our borders and enforce our immigration laws should be a priority in Illinois.

    As an Illinois Citizen you know that the state is hugely impacted financially and physically by illegal immigration. The Pro-illegal alien lobby is relentless and in 2007 lobbied our state capitol a total of 4 times for legislation to assist illegal immigrants! The pro-enforcement groups did not lobby Springfield in person at all. The state legislators need and want to hear from you!

    It is time to turn the tables. The Federation for American Immigration Reform is looking to assist some determined and passionate activists who would like to develop an organization to oppose illegal immigration. The groups’ purpose would be to educate the state legislators in Springfield and local leaders in our cities, towns and villages, on why Illinois should be tough on illegal immigration.

    If you are interested in a joining a concerted effort to educate our officials and spend time learning how to lobby, we can make a difference in Illinois. We will train you to:

    * Call elected officials
    * Write letters to elected officials and newspapers
    * Meet with local elected leaders
    * Travel to the state capital to lobby state legislators
