What an innovator Sheriff Joe Arpaio is! And who says he doesn't have a sense of compassion and a giving spirit this holiday season for those inmates under his control! This man needs to be left alone to continue with his wonderful work!

UPDATED: 5:55 pm MST December 21, 2010
PHOENIX -- Sheriff Joe Arpaio and some of his deputies spent their day handing out toys to military families as part of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office's annual Military Toy Distribution.
"Deputies here always look forward to this. I understand sometimes you have a tough job where you have to make arrests, but we like the kids to know that deputy sheriff's are your friends" said Arpaio.
Extra toys will be donated to the Phoenix Children's Hospital and the Fiesta Bowl Toys Program.
