America has become a weak country and dishonest country

America has become a weak and dishonest country. The law shoud be equal to any person who wants to move to America.

We are said to be the most powerful nation on earth but we can't even enforce our own laws. Why did it take us almost a decade to become legal residents and border jumpers get all the help they want ? Around 7,000 people move from Japan to the US every year, while over 1 million people enter the US illegally every single year, and the government is not doing anything about it. Why the heck did we waste 10 years to do everything the right way ? We could move to the US anyway and overstay a tourist / VWP visa, but we didn't, we followed the laws.

I'm not advocating that we should allow more Japanese in, all I'm saying is that immigration laws should be equal to anyone who wants to move to America no matter from what country the applicant is from, and it's pure discrimination that some groups are favored by the government over any other person from any other continent.

Try to be illegal in Japan !

Welcome to ALIPAC, I totally understand your frustration. I agree that No one who comes to this country illegally should be allowed to stay, they should be deported, our laws should be enforced and our border should be sealed.

I hope you find peace in knowing that groups like ours exist all over the US and we the American people are not giving up until we take back our country 1 state at a time.

    Welcome, Shinji!

The elites who are running the country (and the world) want cheap labor. They don't care who they hurt to get it and are willing to sell out America to get it.

I don't know if the US is the only country this is happening in on a large scale. I can imagine that the French would have a fit if Spaniards stopped being good tourists and just decided to move in en masse, and pick up on a host of social benefits, too. Africans are fleeeing Africa for Europe but they have water to cross.

That, my friend, is not really important what I think or support.
Laws should be obeyed and enforced, and what I think of a certain law is not of any importance. Do I agree with all existing laws on any issue ? You bet I don't ; the first person who agrees on all laws is yet to be born. Should the laws be enforced ? The hell yea, what is the use of laws anyway if they're not enforced ? What can I do about laws I disagree on ? I can vote any person I think represents me the most.

A country that is not enforcing its laws is a weak country that betrays its citizens.

    Hi Shin and welcome .

I can tell you why our leaders don't want too many Japanese , because they only want ignorant poor citizens they can take advantage of . Most Japanese are educated and have training .

Personally I don't think we should take any immigrants at all for at least 5 years ,not a one .

We are overloaded with immigrants .

Americans of all descent need to get their teenagers and older children out from under the computers and TVs and put them to work ,especially the ones in college who seldom have a job anymore. Most use to work and either pay their own way through college or help with the funds . We do this and we won't need immigrants to do most of these jobs .

We have lost our morals and are now goverened by a bunch of socialist libs who live for self satisfaction .

WELCOME TO ALIPAC "shinji" You should never regret doing anything the right way, in the end you are the one who can hold your head high and you are the one Americans will welcome, and we do!!

Remember these illegals are not getting all they want because of the will of the people, this is happening because of crooked politicans and corporate America who have sold out the American people.

In the end you will be the winner because "WE THE PEOPLE" are going to win this and the illegals are going to go home or get deported, it took years of us ignoring it to get this bad, and will it take years to make it right again, but we will prevail, we Americans are a stubborn bunch when you step on us, our children and our way of life!!

Welcome again, and we are glad you did it the right way!

Welcome shinji. I'm sorry that the full legalization process is so darn time consuming. I think there is room for improvement as well.
I also know someone that had a very similar situation as yourself. The time frame sounds about the same and this person spent somewhere in the neighborhood of about 12k-15k from start to finish (about 10 years too). I also think there is a valid argument to downplay country-of-origin allocations and possibly supplant that logic with more emphasis on skills, background, etc. (most other western countries apply such an approach).

On the flip side, you're correct in questioning those that are able to come here illegally (eg. the 'wrong' way) and, for the most part, 'live under the radar'. Those people should not be rewarded in any way and actively sought out and removed.

Anyway, we do appreciate that you CHOSE to do things the right (ie legal) way and invite you to stick around with us.

Welcome shinji. I too know others who have come the legal way and angry that usurpers would and ask to be rewarded for getting away with it. However, you can rest your head on a pillow each night knowing you are safe to stay here since you did it the right way.

Some of the angriest people concerning this amnesty that our politicians are trying foist upon us are people like you who honor this country, its people, culture, borders, and laws.

If you come here illegally you honor nothing but yourself. That's called selfishness.
