    Last Night's American Dad Episode

Did anyone else see it? It was all about illegal aliens. The moral of the entire episode was that "illegals aren't parasites, they are people".

I checked the American Dad website at fox, and they haven't posted the episode recap yet, but check in a day or two:
    http://www.fox.com/americandad/recaps/

    I'll give you my recap:

The dad has a dream to make teddy bears dressed according to holidays. He can never get them ready in time to sell them. After interviewing a regular american worker, he realizes he can't afford to pursue his dream of making and selling these teddy bears. He decides to hire his liberal daughter's boyfriend Pedro who is an illegal alien. He has previously called him a parasite and his daughter says "they're people!"

After the bears get popular, the dad hires the whole family of illegals. The wife screams and barks orders at the illegals her husband "lets her have" and of course she is on the couch eating bon-bons in one scene. Pedro is too tired to work one day, so the dad makes him break up with his daughter, so then she calls INS. After INS visits Stan says "How can I make my American Dream happen without them"

In the end, they sing "Country Road" and now the dad says - illegals ARE people and they aren't a burden to america. He and his family help them escape to west virginia.

I checked the videos section and it seems to not be updated. I also couldn't find an email address to complain just yet, I will repost here when they post the recap and I can find somewhere to send in complaints.

It's a shame that even the cartoons are filled with this drivel.

I never saw that show before last night. I was tuning to the news station I watch before work in the morning and this cartoon was on. My finger was on the off button when I heard "illegals" so of course I had to watch.

I tuned in about halfway through just when the boss was asking Pedro if he had any family that could help with the teddy bears, Pedro said "no, I'm an only child," and immediately admitted his sarcasm and said "are you kidding, I'm Mexican!" Next thing you know there's 12-15 illegals making teddy bears in the basement.

    At this point I'm still
wondering what the writers agenda is, it seemed funny, possibly making fun of the invasion.

Then INS shows up because of a tip, they eventually search the basement and the illegals are all gone. Switch to a scene of the backyard pool with a bunch of sticks poking out of the water, than a view underwater where the illegals are tied to cinder blocks so they don't float to the surface, breathing through bamboo chutes and all the while working on teddy bears.

Now I'm starting to get the gist of it!

The clincher was in the end when all the illegals are at a fair singing "Country Road" in perfect English with their arms linked together, swaying back and forth professing their love for this country. YEAH RIGHT.

At this point I was pretty well disgusted! I was trying to imagine 40,000 MS-13 gang members in America linking arms and singing "Take Me Home, Country Road."

The brainwashing continues! Needless to say it was tough getting to sleep last night.

I would love to make a cartoon where a nice leberal lady concerned for the "poor people just here to work" picks up an illegal to clean up her yard. When he finds out that they're the only two people at her house he rapes and murders her and runs off into the night only to disappear into the shadows never to be seen again.

That would be a hell of a lot more realistic!

I didn't see this show, but I have noticed that it a common topic on television right now. Ugly Betty, CSI Miami, among others, and they are all playing the sympathy card. It makes me sick. I also noticed that several commercials seem to have female Latin voices(?)

I'm glad other people saw it. The agenda was clear and just because they made a couple jokes about Mexicans didn't make me like it any more.

There was one scene where the wife had the illegals throwing tortilla chips on the floor in front of her (instead of rose petals) because "it made her feel like a princess". Whatever!

    <----Bigfoot say's that's a bunch of stupid Mod Edit

I have to say, I rarely watch TV, and when it is, it's the news (Fox) maybe some HGTV and a few things on History Channel. Have never seen this show, and now I really would not want to.

It's just a filler show, usually before Family Guy.

I can't stand to watch any of these stupid reality shows they have on anymore, I just have got into the habit of downloading Gunsmoke, and Bonaza, on HDTV so I can filter out the commercials, can't seem to stand them anymore either. Lou Dobbs is my favorite but he is only on for an hour, not into sports, so I am stuck with the old stuff since none of the new shows interest me, I will be so glad when spring gets here so I can get outside and work! I have to admit though I am a news junkie, and seems to be more and more about illegal immigration on, that just makes my day!
