Thread: American Legion

Has anyone heard anything more about the American Legion immigration plan? I read it word for word and thought it made more sense that anything I've seen so far. I read somewhere that a copy had been sent to every senator and rep. But other than that nothing. Maybe because it makes sense is the reason all is quite on the washington front?

May be we will hear more on it next week when they are back in session. I am hoping Sen. Sessions brings it up in debate, he's really good for that!

You know thats not such a bad idea he says all the right things and he is a very good speaker

We should recruit members of the American Legion. They have posts across the US and have existing organizational structure that would be helpful. Their members likely have strong community ties too.

The American Legion Resolution makes so much sense that I cannot understand how any clear thinking reasonably intelligent person could say the contrary. The problem is that Congress and politicians are not clear thinking and are in the pockets of special interests. Let's contact the American Legion and thank them for their excellent resolution. I think most (all?) of us have been screaming at Congress to enforce our EXISTING immigration laws which will remove illegal aliens by attrition.

We have some here (I am proud to be one) and working on getting the word out to more of them about ALIPAC
