The current laws in both countries put the Mexicans at a disadvantage to those the United States. American trucking companies are permitted to buy Mexican interstate trucking companies but not the other way around. The Mexican trucking association has recenty said that because the Americans have tougher regulations and there is adequate business in Mexico they do not want to come here yet. It does bother them that they can not invest here when American trucking firms can and have already invested there. A major part of the Mexican trucking fleet are older second hand trucks which were exportd from the United States.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
