The American VOTE is critical - there is no room for apathy
Mark Warner is running for the Virginia Senate seat vacated by retiring long-time Senator John Warner. This picture was taken at the recent festival in Manassas, VA. The link to the story in the Washington Post included below.

NOTE: Fernandez is one of the first amnestized illegal aliens, who watched as Congress granted amnesty after amnesty over the years. Today, amnesty is perceived as yet another entitlement for illegal aliens.
Although Mark Warner’s campaign sign was not intentionally placed to make a political statement, he has inferred he is illegal alien friendly. So, this photo is particularly apropos.

I’m convinced that news items like this are directly related to voter apathy. Manassas has a voter turn out of less that 20%. The frustration level is high on local forums and blogs, yet voters re-elect Council members who have illegal alien friendly voting records. This scenario is not restricted to Manassas; we are seeing this across the country.
The upcoming elections will be a critical turning point. The voters will decide if we elect a Congress that grants Illegal Aliens yet another amnesty (albeit via the back door). We already know that both presidential candidates are pro-amnesty; therefore we must elect a Congress that represents the best interests of America’s Citizens and legal residents.
It is our civic and moral obligation to not only support our candidates with our vote, but make a concerted effort to encourage friends, family and acquaintances to get out an vote. Our country depends on it!
Each year, I take personal leave and provide transportation to voters who need assistance getting to the polls. I support the candidates I feel best represent my views and proudly display a bumper sticker. Rumor has it, the visibility achieved with just one bumper sticker is equivalent to a $150 newspaper ad.
If everyone makes a personal commitment to encourage at least 5 friends, family and acquaintances to vote, we can elect a Congress who are less Party Players and more Public Servants, representing AMERICANS.
