Today is "Take your sons and daughters to work day", so, my 12 year old son went to work with his dad. My husband works in a receiveing department of a wholesale company.

As they (my husband and son, and another employee) were receiving a truckload shipment, the driver of the truck was talking with them about May 1st. He stated that not only was he aware of the "boycott", but now for sure he was not spending his money at McDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, Walmart, especially. He was very vocal and outspoken about it.

Of course my protest, sign holding 12 year old was all smiles, and had to call and tell me this.

The word is getting around and Americans are showing their resolve to show not only our government, but the big businesses that thrive on illegal labor, that we will not be pushed around, we are the majority and what we want will win.

Way to go ALIPAC, CIS, FAIR, LAIR and all local, and state reform groups!!! Way to go to Fox and Lou Dobbs and the Minutemen. Our numbers are growing in exceeding numbers and we do not need to march and scream and throw any nasty threats to the opposition, our words and our numbers will do it.

We will continue to act like sane decent, law-abiding American citizens, and we will prevail, this will be respected for generations to come.

In light of this, is an attached email I received after my email to McDonalds for supporting La Raza (my email shows up after theirs):

Hello Elizabeth:

Thank you for taking the time to contact McDonald's to share your feelings regarding McDonald's employment policies. We respect your point of view and the opportunity to share some additional information with you on this topic.

First and foremost, McDonald's values the diversity of all of our employees and our customers and our scrupulous compliance with all immigration laws.

We also realize that immigration reform is a complex issue. It is an important issue for many of our employees, owner/operators and suppliers. And it's an important issue for our company.

It's important to know that McDonald's is a franchised organization and our franchisees follow local, state and federal laws for employment.

Ultimately, our goal and the goal of our employees is to continue to offer our customers what we have for the past 50 years - great, high quality food served quickly and accurately by friendly employees in a clean and welcoming environment, all at a good value.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts with McDonald's.

I was quite dismayed to learn that you support La Raza, a group that is advocating the takeover of the Southwestern United States by illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America. This group encourages illegal immigration by supporting the ideas that there is no such thing a an illegal alien, instead they continualy refer to them as immigrants. La Razas support of illegal aliens from Mexico and Central America is nothing short of being a traitor. Encouraging lawlesness, and encouraging illegals to cross our borders without due permission from the United States, is just plain irresponsible. I will no longer spend any of my families dollars at McDonalds anymore, and will be sure to put the word out that your corporation is supporting a group that encourages illegal immigration. Makes me wonder how many of your employees are illegal aliens? Is this why McDonalds supports La Raza, cheap labor? I will be spreading the word out there that McDonalds in no longer and Ameri!
can company, only a greedy globalist corporation, hiring illegals and supporting the downfall of America, its laws and its values.
