This is really getting to be scary. From reading the article someone posted here about the drug cartel threatening the Mexican police and telling them to either join with them or die, this makes one wonder how many Mexican police will bend to them. If the Mexican police can't control the cartel on the other side of the border, this activity could extend across to our side, putting our border patrol at great risk. Our government needs to wake up to what's happening here.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit to learn the Mexican drug cartels are actively targeting tourists in an effort to retaliate against the Mexican government for ther stepped up efforts to eradicate the cartels.

The cartels realize how important tourist dollars are to Mexico and it seems as if nothing is beneath these people to get want they want.

You couldn't pay me enough to visit Mexico right now and yet Bill Richardson proclaimed last week that travel to Mexico is now safe for Americans.

Guess we know who is loyalties are with...

This is insane. I don't who in thier right mind would want to go down there now. There are so many more nicer places here in the US.

Insane, yes! Our borders are becoming war zones and our gubmint is unwilling to do anything but sit back and watch. Soon the people will take things into their own hands!
