Senate Majority Leader promises crowd of Illegal Aliens and their supporters that he will deliver Amnesty; claims to have started work to pass Amnesty 'now'


It's now or never in the U.S. Senate.

"We're going to come back, we're going to have comprehensive immigration reform now," Sen. Reid declared over the weekend.

Yesterday, the Senate returned to Washington, and staffers were scrambling to fulfill Reid's promise that an Amnesty is the next big push.

Amnesty should be too unpopular for Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) and Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to tackle in an election year.

After all, a CNN poll released yesterday showed that 66% of Americans do not want the path to citizenship made easier for illegal aliens. According to the poll, only four in ten Democrats want those changes!

So why would Democratic leaders in Congress want to push amnesty, an extremely unpopular measure, now?

Bottom line is this: Reid knows the upcoming election is shaping up very badly for his party. He may lose his majority in the Senate. He very well may lose his own re-election bid. He's polling way behind in Nevada. He's almost out of tricks.

For Reid, passing an Amnesty bill is literally Now or Never! He wants to push through an amnesty now when he may have the votes to overcome a filibuster. And he must be stopped.

Right before an election? Is the man mad? If voters aren't angry about the healthcare plan, just wait until they hear this.

The Dems are going to go for broke now. They have nothing to lose and for them (at this point) it's more about thier "legacy" and thier "place in history" since they know they will be out of jobs soon anyway...bunch of subhumans make me SICK!

Maybe Reid is offering himself as a sacrifice to Obama's vision. He won't be re-elected so go for the gusto while one still has a chance. Then Obama can say, we tried but it didn't fly, but keep voting Democrat and we will get this done next year.

Reid is SCUM..

He is doing this to Spite Americans AND to purposely anger them further, possibly into turning towards violence. Yes, he is an insane monster...

Man I just freaked out when I got that email from Numbers. I immediately contributed but now I'm a nervous wreck. I thought we had more of a margin.

That weasel Harry Reid is the most dasterdly demon there is. So are all the Mexifornia Democrats who are bound and determined to destroy what's left of broke, decaying, and crime-ridden California. As far as I'm concerned they're four votes from landing in hell.

This had got to be the worst (Democratic) Congress ever in recent history. What a bunch of double-dealing axe-men.

They all say "screw you America. We take our orders from a dead Kennedy and demanding Spanish yelling pro-illegal marchers. We didn't like you acceptable patriotic middle class citizens anyway!"

my fear is amnesty will pass because Dems know they are done anyway. then they leave the Repubs to clean up the mess of a health care disaster and mass amnesty. PLEASE someone tell me this will not happen. i am so sick to my stomach right now! please tell me amnesty will not pass before november!

There we go! While there are a few good Democrats, we have to separate them from the party of Dastardly Demons, which seems to be the majority in Congress.
