Thread: LouDobbs shut down a questioner

I was listening to Lou Dobbs on the radio just now. A man called in and asked why we don't hear more about illegals being covered with the Obamacare plan. Lou gave him a very short answer ("We talk about it here all the time") and then quickly went to commercial.

I wrote him an email asking why we are not seeing people at the Townhall meetings asking this question. I'm sure they do, but it never seems to be broadcast! I added that it seemed that FOX and CNN were being muzzled on the topic. I know some of you have suggested that Lou is being muzzled, but today, I really saw that as reality! And even Glenn Beck is going on and on about unimportant stuff!

It's all about ratings and money. They talk about whatever will get them more money, and will lie when necessary. We don't have any Walter Kronkite's anymore.

People need to force debate on the issue by making signs and asking the questions!!! And no, people are not pressing the issue and the media wont focus on it until people are all over complaining to the point to where they have to show it!

I heard a woman say at a townhall that it seemed to her that illegals were being catered to more than American citizens.We had it on Fox news.Not sure what townhall but someone interupted her and she shot fire out of her eyes and shut that person right up.It did get mentioned.

The one woman I saw on cable tv coverage who brought up the subject of coverage for illegal aliens at a town hall meeting was immediately shouted down with cries of, "racist". All she had tried to do was to protest that it seemed to her that the needs of illegal aliens were being put before those of United States citizens.

I wonder when Lou's contract is up with CNN, if he has one with them..I wish Fox would hire him.

I agree that he needs to move to Fox. On his show the other night, he was attacked personally by some Democrat committee person. He finally shut her down and said she was very rude.

CNN will no longer allow talk radio show personalities to participate in panels or be guests on CNN shows. So Lou now has stupid people as the panel, institute or academic people, DNC or RNC people, former aides to Bush or Clinton, clergy. None of these guests have the performance and intellect required of talk show hosts. Its very boring and the debate is substandard. It will only be a matter of time before the show falls off a cliff.

He should include the great debaters on his radio show.

The pro-illegal groups have been trying to shut Dobbs up for years now. Looks like they may have gotten to the CNN execs and he has been told to tone it down on his discussions about illegal aliens. If I were Dobbs I would tell them to stick it and move on.

Okay. I get it that CNN is muzzling Lou Dobbs--but this was RADIO!! Why will he not talk about the issue there?? I have believed that the radio forum could be more straight forward on the issues.
