the problem is that you're going from english to spanish and back to english.. and in all these translation you loose something. you cant literally translate things otherwise they dont make sense. they tried to keep it as accurate as possible..but its impossible. to have done this period is retarded.. this is just a way to infuriate americans against illegals without realizing it. i dont think its fair to immigrants when the majority are not supporting. we cant control what "artists" record we can only choose to hear it or not. remember the dixie chicks??

lsmith, I agree. It tells me that he at least has enough common sense left to realize who the majority actually is in this country.

Called "Nuestro Himno" -- "Our Anthem" -- the Spanish version rewrites some of the English version. For instance, the second stanza says, "My people keep fighting. It's time to break the chains."

"I think people who want to be a citizen of this country ought to learn English and they ought to learn to sing the national anthem in English," Bush said.
