    ANY IDEAS?!

Were going to be dealing with a new liberal government like it or not....soon!!

Instead of being mad we need to focus our efforts on a NEW STRATEGY THAT WILL WORK HAND IN HAND WITH WHAT WE HAVE DONE IN THE PAST THAT WORKS!

Maybe we need to launch a strategy that involves nation wide marches, and print advertising! Democrats take notice in those kind of approaches rather than just complaining with impersonal methods, they need to hear our struggles and points face to face!

We need to exploit our opposition to the rest of the world as the hate groups that they are, and use our friends in the media to get that word out!! Remember groups like ours are diverse patriots working toward helping anyone that wants to share in a common American culture and dream. these real hate groups like LaRaza need to be exposed as such! Remember the biggest sign of a real hate group is exclusion, a group that only wants to benefit or advance ONLY ONE type of race, gender, or idea!

But other than that I'm drawing a blank!! We need to brainstorm a way to keep this boat afloat!!!!! ANY IDEAS??? IM OUT!!!

If anyone is interested in the humanitarian angle (i.e letting poorer people in to gain the "American Dream") it is much cheaper to help them in their own countries, where everything is much cheaper, than here in the US. It's really only those with a vested interest in high immigration levels who unquestioningly support it. No other country seems to have such a large crowd of them...

Doing something sounds like a great idea and would possibly work.....providing we had a president and democratic congress who gave a damn about this country or American citizens.

And neither of them do. Their interests lie totally with foreign countries, foreign nationals, and minorities who go along with "the program".

I am listening to Rush Limbaugh and he has a boatload of ideas.

But basically it is getting back to supporting conservative principals and stop trying to be all things to all people.

He believes that McCains campaign to appeal to swing voters and Independent voters is where he went wrong. He lost conservatives and he did not gain Independent voters. In fact his campaign to swoon Hispanic voters also back fired.

Rush says that if he had run like Regan and supported Federal Laws, saying he would enforce the laws against illegal aliens would have most assuredly won.

He was to busy walking the fence trying to be all things to all people and so he alienated enough of each group, to not get a majority of any one group needed in order to win.

Here in California - Orange County is known as Republican territory and in fact McCain won the county - no problems. BUT in LA County the turn out to vote was 82.39 % of voters voted.
In Orange County - only 53% of voters voted. I think because of McCains history on illegal immigration. Most of the Orange County group supported Romney in the primaries, because Romney took a stronger stance against "amnesty".

What about our jumping right in a positive way and contacting Congressional representatives, news media, etc., expressing strong support for President-elect Obama's announced support of enforcement of sanctions against employers who employ illegal immigrants and for the E-Verify Program? We could emphasize and educate people on the fact that these already are matters of national law! With enough publicity on his campaign stances on these matters, it would be difficult for him to then change his positions.

At the same time, we also could emphasize our belief in "attrition through enforcement" as the rational and humane "middle path" to immigration reform.

No they won't!! And Instead of dwelling lets just brainstorm a way to get our ideas more mainstream and more acceptable to the people and our representatives! We need to expose our opposition as hate groups and build our ideas. Remember the way people perceive us and our approach is very important, heck that is how obama got elected it was not his policies or his horrible associations, it was how he got his message across! You could get people to eat a crap sandwich as long as you were able to change their perception of it! But we need to get rolling and we can do it!!

Camaro is right: one of the primary reasons "undecided voters" said they decided to vote for Obama instead of McCain was because they were so offended by the negative "attack ads" run by the McCain campaign. And what ever possessed Elizabeth Dole to call her opponent "an athesist"? I think the way to the future for us is more positive and more focused offensive action!

Remember, hiring an illegal alien to work in the United States is a crime under the Immigration and Reform Act of 1986 (IRCA). The 1986 amnesty was passed with the understanding that the federal government would impose strict sanctions on employers who continued this practice. We at last have some excellent momentum on this resulting from the last year of ICE enforcement work.

And there is no reason that E-verify should be "allowed to die" in March, 2009 now! Obama will be President then, and said while campaigning that he supported it. Let's help educate the public on E-Verify now and on its effectiveness in preventing illegal foreign workers from taking jobs from U.S. citizens, legal residents, and their families!

Except to learn from it, let's not waste our time looking backward: the future is going to come, either with or without us.
