Thread: Anyone notice our new banners at the top of the page?

How do you like our new banners at the top of each page?

We are launching a very important fund raiser for ALIPAC tomorrow that will last till Sept. 5. Our success in this effort is vital to the survival and future performance level of ALIPAC.

So, to help things along we have added the banners to help spread the word through our entire website. Special thanks to our Comms Director Daryl Jurbala for his efforts on this. We will be adding more variety to the banners and appreciate any suggestions.

I noticed them, and they are good. I donated again yesterday.
I love the one which says "If you support McCain or Kennedy, don't click here."

I got a good laugh from that one.
Thanks for the fine work you do!!

We are bouncing around a few more ideas about good humored banners.

Eventually we will also have banners that highlight some of our top features like the calendar of events, the book store and products store, the law enforcement materials, the platform of ALIPAC, the need for volunteers etc....

We also need some good small or banner sized image suggestions.

(A question ... have you tried using white typeface instead of black on those with a darker background color? May stand out even more.)

Steve, That is a good idea. I like inverted ads.

Banner suggestions:

The photo of the mexican flag above the upside down US flag.

An ugly photo of Hillary.

An ugly photo of our illustrious El Presidente

A photo of Bush looking idiotic.

Somebody posted some of these awhile back. I remember a few ugly ones of Hillary on the thread about the bust of her. I'm sure the one of the flags is in the photos section of these boards. Hey, there are probably some good photos there to use too - how about some from the pro-illegals' marches?

Another idea: what about a banner that speaks to the violence of the criminal illegals or the drug traffickers?

Not sure what the ad copy should be though.

As, "Bones," would say - I'm a doctor, not an advertising copy writer, Jim!
