    Just when you think that Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio can’t get any cooler, he comes up with another great idea.

    [b][i]A sheriff known for housing inmates in old military tents has a new idea–a chain gang of drunken driving convicts wearing pink shirts and performing burials of people who died of alcohol abuse.

    Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said he wants the chain gang to act as a deterrent to potential drunken drivers. He has already used the color pink on inmates–he issued them pink underwear.

    “Maybe this will warn people — knock it off, don’t drink and drive,â€

    Notice the printing on the shirts.......Clean (can't make it out--think it's and) Sober.

    Note to other police forces--when frisking a suspect, check out the color of his underwear.

    ACLU will probably respond by filing suit for Underwear Profiling!

    Funny you should mention that!!!

    When Joe first put inmates in pink all those years ago, some group did try to sue.

    Claimed that it was offensive and humiliating to male criminals. Something about them feeling emasculated
