Hearing their conversation, there is a split between evangelicals and non-evangelicals who support in CIR. One key provision in the Menendez CIR bill is that it would promote same sex couples to be given visas. Evangelicals believe that the government will re-define marriage through this bill. Thus, affecting the definition of marriage in the future.

If CIR/amnesty comes back, we can use this to split evangelicals from the rest of the CIR supporters.
