Friends,

I do plan to contact an attorney in Sydney and find out if Australian law will allow us to sue this unscrupulous reporter for libel.

Not only is this attack in complete defiance of any sense of ethical journalism, but an article like this would be illegal in the US. US libel laws prevent reporters and newspapers from making such defamatory, libelous, and harmfull comments like this.

ALIPAC, the American public, and me have been labeled "xenophobes" and "rednecks" by Scott Rochfort and the Sydney Morning Herald.

Full of beer and over here

REFLUX

FOSTER'S has been given an opportunity to crack the redneck market in the US, with xenophobes and Minutemen leading a boycott of SABMiller beer.

Apparently the maker of Miller Genuine Draft is engaged in an evil conspiracy to encourage immigrants to sneak over the border, drink its beer then create trouble.

"We have a wave of deaths from drink-driving illegal aliens," reasoned the president of Americans for Legal Immigration, William Gheen. "Illegal aliens aren't used to driving on first-world roads."

Aside from SABMiller funding pro-migrant rallies, Gheen explained to Reflux from his North Carolina home that beer makers had a lot to answer for.

He said illegal aliens for some reason liked to party more and drink more beer - and drink-driving illegals were killing 13 Americans every day.

"We know that some other beer companies are doing similar things," said Gheen. However, it was important to first teach SABMiller a lesson and then perhaps target other corporations.

"We've been waiting for a company like Miller to really stick their neck out and Miller has done that," he said. "We don't drink invasion beer."

Gheen declined to say whether he might start drinking Foster's. "When I would drink beer my favourite beer was Miller High Life, the champagne of beers. I will never drink another drop of it in the rest of my entire life."

Groups involved in the boycott include the American Freedom Riders, Citizens Against Illegal Aliens, Friends of the Border Patrol, the militia group Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and Mothers Against Illegal Aliens.

Then there's the bed bugs

Thanks to the surge in the numbers of beer-loving illegal migrants sneaking into the US, Gheen reasoned that diseases such as leprosy, tuberculosis and fatal parasites were on the rise.
"We've got bed bugs in our hotels," he said. In a cry for help to Reflux readers, Gheen added: "We want people in other countries to know that the American Republic is in jeopardy.

"We have a situation in America which is heading towards anarchy."

Gheen declined to say whether SABMiller's new joint venture with Coca-Cola Amatil to sell its beer in Australia could lead to a surge in illegal immigration here and even a breakdown in our political system.

Will it also lead to a rise in bed bugs, smallpox and drink driving in Sydney? Could people seeking asylum in Australia have an unquenchable thirst for SABMiller's Peroni or Pilsner Urquell?

It is also unclear if the anti-immigration types in the US realise that SABMiller helps distributes Foster's.
