Be Aware Of What Your Children Are Watching...

Stepped into my den this morning where my daughter was sitting in front of the television and she was watching Scooby Doo. Apparently there was a "mystery" in Mexico and my damn television was speaking Spanish. I told my daughter to go outside and skip rope or something.

You can't even trust the old stand-bys like Sesame Street or Disney. They're all teaching our kids about Spanish culture and learning how to speak Spanish.

I've seen several shows that try and sneak in Spanish laguage instruction. Dora the Explorer is a big one, and so is Dragon Tales. We don't allow our son to watch those shows. I am deeply offended by those networks trying to teach my kid the language of the invaders sneakily like that! No, sorry my kid doesn't need to learn Spanish, THEIR KIDS NEED TO LEARN ENGLISH for God's sake!!!! I'm so sick of this upside-down world we're living in now I could puke!!

They also sneak it in by having SAP audio on almost all shows now. So we have almost every show in spanish.

You could use something like the vchip to lock out the channels that have this crap on. And also throw some letters at them. Tell PBS that you and everyone you know will not donate another cent to them until they pull this off the air. They now have fully mexican themed shows like Maya & Miguel. Let them know that you'll be contacting your congressmen and letting them know why you don't want PBS to get government funding.

Contact the advertisers/sponsors too and let them know you won't be patronizing their establishments. That would work for all networks.
