DURHAM -- Two men were held on $6 million bond each Saturday when they were charged with trafficking 14 pounds of cocaine.

Investigators from the Durham Police Department's Special Operations Division arrested Cuauhtemoc Villa, 32, and Pioquinto Penaloze-Banos, 32, after a confidential informant bought 14 pounds of cocaine from the men Friday, warrants alleged.

While the amount of cocaine seized from the arrest carries a street value of over $600,000, it is not the largest amount of cocaine seized by Durham police.

In 2005, officers collected 99 pounds of cocaine from a Ford F-150 pickup truck and a Nissan Quest minivan, hauled into Durham on a tractor-trailer.

Four arrests were made in that case, which was prosecuted in federal court.

Villa, of California, and Penaloze-Banos, whose last known address was 5802 Hadrian Drive, were held on such a high bond because magistrate Joseph Payne said they were flight risks.

Payne also called the identification of both men "questionable," according to jail documents.

Both men were charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine, four counts of trafficking cocaine and maintaining a vehicle for the purpose of selling a controlled substance, according to warrants.

Villa and Penaloze-Banos are scheduled to appear Monday in Durham County District Court.

Doesn't really matter what your name is if you are in custody and you are going down for a long time.

Does Durham have a most wanted page or is
that against sanctuary city rules? Go look at
the 10 most wanted by Wake County sherriff:

I went through Durham this weekend on 70 & 501
business. Man, you cannot swing a dead cat without hitting
    5 illegals.
