Baby boomers, immigration and abortion....?
Maybe this has been touched upon in this forum but I had never thought of this until someone mentioned it to me. Supporters of immigration, both legal and illegal, like to justify immigration by thinking that all these new immigrants, if given amnesty, will pay into social security to support the baby boomer Americans who are now into their 60's. Well, these new immigrants are using social services so I don't really buy into this BUT if it is true and we have say 22 million illegals then, in essence they are replacing some of the 40 million aborted babies since 1973 and Roe B Wade.
I am not trying to get into a pro or anti abortion debate here with other members but the debate is worth thinking about. These 40 million aborted babies fetuses whatever would be English speaking adult citizens, many of them, and would not be sending $50 BN back to Mexico.....et al....
I dunno? What do you all think?
Stop illegal immigrantion and stop killing our young to save social security? Interesting indeed!

What we need to do to salvage the social security system is collect unpaid federal taxes from cheaters. I have been writing to Senator Grassley about this, since that is one of his concerns.
Another ideas is to cut people off retirement social security who can also get big private pensions. I know it is socialistic; but some of their advisors tell them to cut back on the private pensions so they can still get SS. Go figure. Another drain on the Fund."Men of low degree are vanity, Men of high degree are a lie. " David

It is not just the aborted who have been replaced. There are also plenty of other parents who because of declining wage rates feel they can not now afford to support chldren and so never bothered to have any. The more low skilled immigrants come in the less the fertility rate in those households who depend on making a living by having to compete with them for the same jobs.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Someone mentioned this fact to me (about the aborted children) and I must admit that I had not thought of that before.
Many people think about having families based on their income to support their families. Illegal immigration threatens jobs, which can impact people contemplating having families or continuing the growing of their families.
Psalm 91Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Read Death of the West. Pat Buchanan makes the case quite convincingly that social liberalism has sapped the West's ability to replenish itself. That it has created a society where the Western woman no longers sees motherhood and family as an essential role for herself. And that has resulted in declining birthrates in every single Western nation, and a need for Third World immigration for population replacement. This is especially true in Europe, and even in Japan (which hasn't endured an invasion, but is the oldest country in the world).

I have thought about that. The way that our generation was given the option of abortion, and that we were told it was "okay". and that we were encouraged to pursue a career and wait on having the children. and how motherhood was not as important as gaining status in the work world. We were somehow brainwashed into these beliefs as American women. Today, we realize the cost of living and college, and purposely have fewer children so that we can afford to feed them and put them through college. Now enter in all these immigrant women who wind up having 5-6 children or more. Their kids get free education, in-state tuition, free meals at school, free healthcare, etc. Is it some big consipiracy theory? I wish I knew. I do see a new trend though today of American Christian women having larger families. Staying home and raising children is becoming important again (to some). That's a good sign I guess.

Being one of the first baby boomers (war babies) I remember well the original movement to have less children.
Where Global Warming is now the big threat to the planet, Over population was the big threat.
Where now we are enudated with pictures of the North Pole melting, we were shown pictures of all the starving children in third world countries.
We were told that civilization and the planet could not survive if we didn't slow down the population. So we founded the Peace Corp and were challenged to serve our country in the cause of peace by living and working in developing countires.
We felt that we could save the world, eliminate starvation and disease by teaching birth control.
The idea was good, we did our part, we had 2.5 children, but somehow the message was lost on other cultures. Where our solution was birth control their solution is migration.
