I've been working on a complaint about a HUGE organization with many, many thousands of illegals---but I am dismayed by the ICE Hotline for Reporting Suspicious Activity. I have left a few complaints there, but you never know what good it will do. I think it usually takes several complaints, if not scores, concerning the same enterprise and then MAYBE they will investigate. or MAYBE NOT.

But as I said I know where they could find thousands--but not all at one spot--at least through membership rolls. The actual figure could be a few hundred thousand or more. So how can one person get ICE to act? Two thoughts have hit me.

1. Write directly to Julie L Myers. I have already compiled several documents. What will they do when the complaint goes directly to Washington DC? At least somebody that can do something should get it.

2. Contact my (Republican) Senator and ask for help in contacting a government agency--in this case DHS's ICE. The only reason I would do this is to try to speed the process along to get it to the top to where someone would actually act upon it.

If your state's Senators are totally OBL this probably would not do much good. I am afraid we may not have that much time left---with a new administration in 2009 ICE enforcement may be set back twenty years. It's already rather pathetic--I don't see any great wave of fear sweeping the illegals' communities yet. Just discouraged job seekers at this point.

So what do you think. Worth a shot? This isn't just a few hundred employees......
