Obama Arms Muslim Terrorists With Machine Guns But Wants U.S. Taxpayers Disarmed

The Obama administration announced recently that it would start overtly arming the Syrian “rebels.” Overtly, as opposed to covertly. I have a hard time believing that they’re just now starting to arm the rebellion. They’ve been doing this for a long time under the radar. It’s just that, now, they’re making it public. Apparently, there had been a delay in getting the arms to the rebel groups in Syria, but it’s being reported now that those shipments are finally coming in. The Washington Post reported last week: “The CIA has begun delivering weapons to rebels in Syria, ending months of delay in lethal aid that had been promised by the Obama administration, according to U.S. officials and Syrian figures. The shipments began streaming into the country over the past two weeks, along with separate deliveries by the State Department of vehicles and other gear — a flow of material that marks a major escalation of the U.S. role in Syria’s civil war. The arms shipments, which are limited to light weapons and other munitions that can be tracked, began arriving in Syria at a moment of heightened tensions over threats by President Obama to order missile strikes to punish the regime of Bashar al-Assad for his alleged use of chemical weapons in a deadly attack near Damascus last month.” When they say “light weapons,” they’re not talking about slingshots: “The CIA has been delivering light machine guns and other small arms to Syrian rebels for several weeks, following President Barack Obama's decision to arm the rebels. The agency has also arranged for the Syrian opposition to receive anti-tank weaponry like rocket-propelled grenades through a third party, presumably one of the Gulf countries that has been arming the rebels, a senior U.S. intelligence official and two former intelligence officials said Thursday. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the classified program publicly.” They call them “light weapons” when they’re talking about arming terrorists. If Americans had these so-called “light weapons,” they’d go to jail. They’re illegal. (Well, essentially illegal.) Can you imagine if Obama allowed only semi-automatic rifles with magazines with no more than a 10-round capacity to be sent to the rebels? They’d laugh. They want real weapons. Like real assault weapons. Machine guns. Anti-tank weapons such as RPGs. And I’m sure that’s not all. The dark irony here is that U.S. taxpayers are working and paying taxes to a government that is slowly but surely disarming Americans through regulations in the name of getting guns off the streets and out of the “wrong hands.” It’s about “public safety and security.” And the children. All the while, this tax money is being spent on arming terrorists overseas with machine guns and RPGs. Makes perfect sense.

Obama Regime Continues To Insist Jihadist-Infested Syrian Rebels Are “Moderates”…

Amid new claims that nearly half of the rebels fighting the Assad regime in Syria are aligned with jihadist or hardline Islamist ideologies, the State Department on Tuesday implied again that most of the opposition are “moderates.”
“We actually do feel that a great percentage of the opposition are moderates that we’re working with,” State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in response to a question about the strength of the al-Qaeda affiliates in Syria, including Jabhat al-Nusrah (the al-Nusrah Front).
“Clearly, the prime minister and the secretary-general and President Jarba are all individuals working to help the innocent men, women, and children of Syria who have been impacted,” she added, referring to the three top leaders in the U.S.-backed Syrian National Coalition (SNC).
The SNC elected Ahmad Tumeh, described in some media reports as a “moderate Islamist,” as prime minister at a meeting in Istanbul on Saturday. The SNC last July elected Ahmad al-Jarba as president and Badr Jamous as secretary-general.

McCain Says Syrian Rebels Aren’t Radical… They’re “Moderate

A recent report showed that the vast majority of the Syrian rebels are Islamic groups who support some form of an Islamic fascist state. They strongly disagree amongst themselves, but Islamic fascism in some form is a huge part of the revolution. In fact, the report concluded that only about 30% of the rebels were “moderate”.

Still, John McCain refuses to admit that he’s been wrong about Syria, and went on the record saying, “Not true, not true!” He explained further saying, “Frankly, I just disagree… There’s about 70 percent still who are Free Syrian Army.”
He didn’t give any source, which is understandable considering one of his main sources in the past was just fired from her policy position for lying about having a PhD and was essentially a propaganda activists for Syria. This should show how absurd John’s conclusion is.
McCain then went further, saying that the United States hasn’t been doing enough to help “train” and support the rebel forces. He’s long been a supporter of Obama’s policy of using US tax dollars to prop up the rebels with weapons — even though that policy armed terrorists in the past.
As for John McCain, someone should send him this video so he’ll see exactly who his arms are “accidentally” supporting:

President Obama Waives Law; Arms Al-QaedaBy Onan Coca / 18 September 2013

President Obama announced today that he would "waive the prohibitions in sections 40 and 40A of the AECA related to such a transaction." Those two sections of the Arms Export Control Act make it illegal for our government to send weapons to nations described in another section of the Act: "The prohibitions contained in this section apply with respect to a country if the Secretary of State determines that the government of that country has repeatedly provided support for acts of international terrorism." These provisions of the Act are supposed to guarantee that our government will not arm or give aid to our enemies, and yet here we have our President simply waiving the provisions the first time a case that fits the circumstances presents itself.
The President, in all his wisdom, has waived these provisions and will begin to arm the Syrian rebels -- including terrorists -- who hope to one day play a role in our destruction. Al-Qaeda is one of the strongest elements in the rebel ranks and there can be no doubt that some of our weapons will fall into the hands of these terrorist monsters… but the President is hell bent on arming the rebels, consequences be damned.
The Act does provide provision for the President to waive these rules: "determines that the transaction is essential to the national security interests of the United States." This section of the law is the reasoning the administration provided for waiving the prohibition on supplying arms to our enemies. “The transaction is essential to the national security interests of the United States.” Nothing we’ve been provided by way of reasoning for involvement in Syria justifies our involvement for national security purposes.
In fact, quite the opposite… what we’ve been told is that if Assad falls there is a very real chance that weapons of mass destruction will fall into the hands of terrorist groups bent on our destruction.
The national media has already reported that we’ve been providing material support to the Syrian rebels, including al-Qaeda, for quite some time. Yet, for some reason, they’ve failed to explain why the CIA was already providing weapons and support to the Syrian rebels out of Benghazi. It’s becoming obvious that the President never cared about the provisions of the Arms Export Control Act and this recent action waiving the prohibition was simply to keep up appearances.
Our President has spent the last five years ruling over us, instead of leading us. He has been part of a climate shift in Washington, DC that has turned our representatives into oligarchs. This is simply another piece of evidence to add to the growing pile of terrifying proof. Over the last few months the NSA has shredded our 1^st, 3^rd and 4th Amendment rights. The Justice Department has trampled our 1^st Amendment rights. The State Department has lied to us and taken part in the cover-up of various scandals, including the murder of 4 Americans in Benghazi. The IRS has ignored our 1^st Amendment freedoms and then dared to be belligerent in the face of our questions. Many other agencies have taken part with the ones already mentioned to undermine our freedoms and our values, while pretending it’s for our own “good.” Now the President simply speaks and the law is ignored while we give aid to our enemies.
This failure to follow our laws is simply another example in a long train of abuses partaken by the government of the United States against the people of this country. What are simple citizens who love their country supposed to do when faced with such an unscrupulous and duplicitous government?
