How low will they go..stealing from Salvation Army.

Not even sure if this is worth posting or not since these types of stories are a dime a dozen. I was out driving around after work doing a little furniture shopping so I stopped by the Salvation Army to peak into the windows. The store was closed and then sun had set about 30 minutes before. I was on Nolensville Road in Nashville Tennessee. The Salvation Army is located right next to a Super Mercado, in the same small strip mall. So here I am peering into the window then look down the parking lot and see this guy with his pickup truck taking furniture that people had dropped off. Yelling, I asked him if he needed help...he yelled back at me in Spanish. He tossed one last piece of furniture in his truck and drove off. 5 minutes later I had 4 guys come walking across the parking lot right towards me. I knew it was trouble so I took off.

Welcome to the new America!! I would say I see at least one thing that is upsetting by these people once a week. Hell, they even spray painted Sur-13 all over the greenway where I used to take my daughter to fish, walk, etc. The greenway isn't safe anymore and here's the kicker....the police department is right down the road along with the fire department. Uh, oh....I feel a rant coming on!!

On the flip side I was doing laundry last night and was the only American there out of about 20 people. This young latino couple was actually watching out for me and being very considerate. Glad they were there.

Thanks Jorge Bush! You have done wonders for this country!!

These people have no descensy, respect, or anything like this for anyone other than themselves. Granted there are good folks among this flotsum of trash, but it sure seems as if its an 85%-15% split, the majority being the trash.

Article, I watched them as they attempted to take a womans cart with her purse in it at our local Goodwill, when this woman went up to the clerks making a huge scene about her purse and the cart, all sorts of employees went looking, then out of the electronics I see this Latino guy walk away, looking back, then walks up my 13 year old son who told me he found the cart for this woman and her purse was still in it. Thank goodness.

Have no idea if her belongings or money were still there though. Then a few minutes later there was a call for security, then another, ten minutes went by security called again. All the while this group of about 6 Latino adults were wandering around together, gathering things up, and being watched closely, the man who tried to take the purse and cart was among them.

You know really, taking things from a charity that would most likely give you what you needed, thats just downright low!

    Nothing New To Me

I have seen groups of illegal aliens stealing clothes and other items that were dropped off after hours in front of Salvation Army centers, charity thrift stores, etc when they were closed. Why is it so shocking that these same invaders would steal? They don't have any sympathy for anyone other than themselves and are living like locusts off our land and that goes for our own generosity in contributing toward what should be help for our own fellow citizens who may be down and need a helping hand. The attack on this country is from the bottom to the top but the top hasn't felt the sting of what these illegal aliens are doing and planning quite yet but they will when it's too late. They are a criminal scourge and invaders and must be stopped.

They come into our church donation office, take what they like, and sell it at the swap meet. Had a conversation with a couple of volunteers at the office and they were disgusted.

I had my last gargare sale about 2 years ago. I was mobbed by them, they stole stuff and kept trying to go into my house. I don't want them on my property so I no longer have garage sales. Now, if I could only get my car in the garage.

Newmexican, this happened this summer out at my mothers place. They had a neighborhood garage sale, we helped her. My husband took the kids to a park, and it was just her and I. The neighbor who is legally blind Vietnam Vet, came walking over to keep track of these three guys who were all over and surrounding my brothers tools he had out to sell.

Of course the three guys did not know he was legally blind, so they did mind their manners there, but the neighbor said they had been in the court the day before and had swiped a bunch of tools from another units sale, but police said they could do nothing else, unless the tools had been marked.

I suppose they justify their thieving ways by saying that these were "old" things and not new. Plus they know they can get away with it as a store can hire security and also has cameras. Makes it easy for retail stores to prove a crime happened altogether, not so for thrift stores and garage sales.

That is why we do not hold sales at our house.

I love garage sales and go all of the time. There's a core group of us garage salers in my town and we are all friends. When the illegals started coming to town and some of them started stealing we would all tattle on them. They soon learned not to do it-anyway at least when the locals were around. A lot of the worst offending illegals that were tattled on don't even bother going to sales anymore thanks to us citizens.

How much do tracking devices cost? Oooooh, it would be a lot of fun to set them up with a tracking device in some items.
