Thread: My bright idea

I'd like to know what you think about my idea, and offer any other suggestions you may have.

I'd like to videotape a documentary wherein I talk to people about politics, immigration, Bush, where the nation is headed, etc. In general, to get people to say on camera how happy they are with things today.

I would be able to post it on youtube, but to actually get it into theaters would be next to impossible, but that's not even the point. The point is to make copies to send to all the Congress Critters, Judges, and president AmBush (and his cronies) so they can see, first-hand, how people feel.

While I am not sure this would effect any change, it would give people an outlet to discuss their opinions and it's a proactive step, IMHO.

So what do you think?

Cor, it sounds like a good idea to me. The more responses we get out there from Americans who are fed up, the better!

I agree it is a good idea. We all could help by sending a link to everyone we know including our Senators and Congressmen. I am so feed up with our government ignoring us. I am will to do anything within the law to have my voice heard.

Talking to real Americans about their aggravation with illegal immigration is a great idea.

zeezil, it wouldn't be just about illegal immigration, though. I want to get their true thoughts on many issues. This is where suggestions from ALIPAC come in ... what topics would you like to hear people discussing?

BTW I told my husband about this and he's all for it! But he said I cause such a sitr on Voice of the People's site that it might get ugly. LOL I suppose, but I am resigned to keep this video completely non-confrontational. I am only interested in hearing what others have to say, not to debate them.

If you'll send it to each member of Congress, and slip them a large envelope full of cash, you may get some action. Yes, I know there are a few decent folks in Washington, D.C., but just a few. The rest will vote the money every time.

Actually, sounds like a great idea, at least it will let some folks know that they are not the only ones fed up with our elected traitors.
