    BILLS CONTAINING REVENUE?

    I heard this morning on C-Span and Rush that bills containing revenue must originate in the House and that the “pay back taxes’ was taken out and Mc Cain had it put back in.
    Anyone knows what this is about and if it affect passing of the bill?

    The Bush White House had the "pay back taxes" provision removed. I hadn't heard, and I doubt very much that McCain had it put back in.
    It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

    I saw a scroll on the bottom of the TV during a C-Span interview today that said that the house is planning to block the bill because it contains revenue and that requires origination in the House.
    I will see what I can find out about this!
