Black Teens Kill White Baby; Media Silent

This is a horrifying crime that can only be exceeded in horror by the fact the national media is censoring this story. Again and again we observe that white people can be butchered in hateful ways by minorities and the big corporate media will willfully conceal those crimes. If a white person, or perceived white person like George Zimmerman, kills a black person it becomes headlines for months at a time. What kind of racial hate are white Americans facing from both street thugs and their allies in the media?

Take a minute and try to imagine what would happen in this country if the following scenario had taken place:

A report describes how in broad daylight two white teenage boys tried to rob a black Brunswick, Georgia woman at gunpoint as she was peacefully pushing her 13 month old son in his stroller. When she resisted, pleading “I don’t have any money,” they callously shot and killed the baby.
The gun did not “go off by accident.” The white thug meant to shoot the black woman and did just that, hitting her twice, THEN turned the gun on the baby. A white thug calmly walked over to the stroller and shot the innocent black baby in the face.
Putting aside her own pain and fear, the loving black mother desperately tried to save her baby’s life by giving him CPR; but the helpless innocent child, shot in the face by a white assailant, died anyway.
We don’t have to imagine how the media would cover this story because unfortunately, except for the race of the killers and their victims which have been reversed, everything else in this scenario is true and actually happened.
Is there any doubt that if the killers were white, the New York Times would change its masthead to read “WHITES HATE AFRICAN AMERICANS ENOUGH TO KILL THEIR BABIES!” and keep it that way for two weeks? Where is the righteous indignation of the white media in this revolting black adult-on-white baby murder? Where are the stories reminding readers that the New Black Panthers have consistently called for murdering white babies?

Is there any doubt that there would be wide brush accusations about white racial hatred coupled with calls for more affirmative action and slave reparations?
Where are the professionally aggrieved Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson?
Don’t hold your breath waiting for Jackson to descend on Brunswick chanting tired slogans about racism and the KKK. Sharpton is too busy making a fool of himself on his talk show to raise a voice in this case – the baby is white, after all. Neither of them has dredged up images of 80-year-old lynchings and beatings while beating his breast crying for “more gun control” to keep blacks safe from whites.
And the media? Its answer is: “We don’t cover black-on-white crime even when the victim is a baby – get over it.”

It Takes A Village, To Raise A Baby Killer

He’s “a good boy” say friends and relatives on facebook.

    by Kyle Rogers

“It takes a village too raise a child” is a mantra that the left-wing likes to say. Obama has also said it takes “courage to be a father.”

Other people think that it takes a mother and a father to raise a child, and the male parent is supposed to be a “father.” They aren’t supposed to get a special award. They don’t expect nor want to to be called “courageous” by the president for doing something they are supposed to do. Comedian Adam Carolla compared the presidents statement to saying “anyone can eat at an IHOP, it takes courage to pay the bill.”

In the mind of the radical left, a successful child is the product of socialism and expensive government programs. However, what if the community is creating monsters?

Recently in Brunswick, GA, two black teenagers shot a white mother and then executed her baby with a point blank shot to the face. What happened next revealed a shocking community wide problem.

Brunswick, GA is a small city of 15,000 people. It is about 60% black. The shooting took place in a census track that is 73% black and 13% white. The fairskinned mother and her blond-haired blue-eyed baby would have stuck out. They were undoubtedly targeted because they are white.

The suspects in the shooting are 17 and 14. Seventeen year old De’Marquise Elkins is the suspected gunman. According to local media he is also suspected in another shooting, but details have not been released.

Here is where the village comes in. The mother, sister, and aunt of the suspected gunman have all been arrested and charged with felony obstruction. Police say they provided false statements and sent them on a wild goose chase. People don’t normally try to protect relatives from prosecution when the crime is this heinous. This shows a shocking disregard for the rest of the community.

The suspected gunman’s facebook page contains three years worth of photos of Elkins making gang symbols and posing like a thug. He claimed to be part of the local “Bloods” gang. In the prominent “about” line it read “ME IN MY NIGGA’S A TURN UR BLO5K IN TO MURDER SCENE.”

The suspected gunman’s profile was “friended” with numerous profiles of other Brunswick, GA residents. It also showed that he interacted with friends and relatives on facebook. All of these people would have seen his declared public statement about wanting to create a murder scene.

Yet, the story gets even worse. Now Brunswick city commissioner James Henry Brooks, Sr. has been arrested and charged charged with influencing a witness and obstruction of a law enforcement officer in connection with the baby killing. He is also faced with six counts of racketeering for allegedly misusing his office for financial gain. Brooks was also arrested in 2012 for bribery.

If a successful child is the product of a community, what do liberals think a violent gangbanger is the product off? A simple glance at Elkin’s facebook page would have tipped anyone off that he is probably a dangerous thug.

Not only were family and friends unfazed by his facebook page, they started a “Save De’Marquise Elkins” page to defend him. Facebook has since deleted the page, but dozens of the original members were listed as being residents of Brunswick, GA. Comments appeared claiming that Elkins was a great kid, and the mother must be lying about what happened.

Certainly there are great black parents. However, time and time again we see the same story. Violent monster arrested for horrible crime. Then parents, who obviously did nothing to prevent their child from becoming a monster, screaming “he is a good boy!” on the news.

We saw the same thing all over the “Save De’Marquise Elkins” facebook page. People who had access to Elkins violent facebook profile, full of gangbanger content, crying out virtually that he was “a good boy.”

Let’s take a look at this angel Trayvon Martin. He was suspended from school for ten days. His mother then ships him off to his father’s house, probably because she couldn’t handle him. His father ships him to his girlfriend’s house. His girlfriend didn’t even know where he was supposed to be when he was being carried away by the coroner. Yet we are supposed to believe that these were great parents.

The black community universally holds up Trayvon’s parents like they are heroes. Meanwhile they are busy copyrighting slogans and making money off of their son’s death.

The liberal media is not going to point fingers at the family and/or local community. They are going to rant about the need for more social programs and money for “outreach.” None of this is going to change a thing.

It is time to point fingers. It is time to name names and demand that people change their behavior. You can’t eliminate gangbangers with social programs if they have no father and their own mother and aunt are willing accomplices to their thuggery.

City official arrested in baby shooting

Brunswick, Georgia (CNN) -- The investigation into the shooting of a baby in Brunswick, Georgia -- a crime that's grabbed national headlines -- has taken yet another turn with the arrest of a local politician.

The arrest stemmed from a verbal exchange between Brunswick City Commissioner James Henry Brooks and the family of one of the teen suspects in the slaying during the suspects' first court appearance on Monday.

According to his attorney, Brooks told the family of De'Marquise Elkins, 17, that they didn't have to talk to police.

"What he was trying to do, at the point and time that he was approached here at the courthouse, was just tell these folks you have a right to remain silent," Brooks' attorney Alan Tucker told reporters Friday.

Brooks is a distant relative of the Elkins family, his wife, Alicia Brooks, told CNN. She did not know exactly how they are related.

The 59-year-old commissioner was charged with influencing a witness and obstructing law enforcement in an investigation, the Glynn County Sheriff's Office said. Brooks was arrested Thursday, posted $5,000 bond and left jail Friday afternoon.

Tucker said his client was not trying to interfere with the investigation.

"I don't know why he spoke with the Elkins family other than the fact that they are constituents of his," the attorney said. "The public defender's office put a statement out earlier in the week, and I think that there were many people in the community who maybe thought that these two young men had not committed the crime with which they are charged with, and evidence has come to light and the gun was found."

Under the terms of his bond, Brooks is not allowed to have any contact with the victims, witnesses, potential witnesses or investigators involved in the investigation of the murder of 13-month-old Antonio Santiago, who was killed March 21.

The child's mother, Sherry West, has said that two teenagers came up to her in the street in broad daylight. One pointed a gun at her and told her that if she didn't give him her money he would shoot her and shoot her baby.

West said that the teen fired at her, hitting her in one leg and barely missing her head. The teen, she said, then shot her baby in the face.

Elkins and Dominique Lang, 15, have been charged with murder. Elkins' mother, aunt and sister have also been arrested on various charges alleging that they have hindered the investigation.

The sister, 19-year-old Sabrina Elkins, was arrested on an evidence tampering charge, the Glynn County Sheriff's Office said.

She was named in a grand jury indictment, released Wednesday, accusing her of helping her mother get rid of the gun authorities say was used to kill the child.

Authorities did not reveal her alleged role in disposing of the gun, which police found in a pond 2.3 miles from where the baby was shot.

Baby's death marks second time mom loses a son to violence

Sabrina Elkins "was part of that, and that's the most I can answer of that question right now," Glynn County Police Chief Matt Doering said Thursday.

The grand jury also indicted Elkins' mother, Karimah Aisha Elkins, 36, and aunt, Katrina Latrelle Elkins, 33, on charges of making false statements or writings, among other things.

Elkin's mother, Karimah Aisha, and his sister, Sabrina, made their first court appearance Friday and were ordered held without bond, according to Ron Corbett, the Glynn County's undersheriff.

None of the women is accused of involvement in the shooting itself.

The same grand jury that indicted the women also named De'Marquise Elkins and Lang as being involved in the shooting, prosecutors said.

Elkins is accused of malice and felony murder, along with other charges. Lang is accused of felony murder.

Although Lang is a minor, CNN is identifying him because he is charged as an adult and media in the community have been naming him since his arrest.

Investigators are looking into the possibility of a gang tie to the shooting, Doering said.

"That's being explored, whether a gang involvement was part of this," he said. "And that's all that I can say right now."

Doering declined to say whether more arrests were possible as the investigation continues

West gave this account to police about the shooting:

One of the boys pointed a gun at her and said, "'Give me your money or I'm going to kill you and I'm going to shoot your baby and kill your baby.'"

The boy tried to grab her purse and opened fire when she told him she had no money. One shot hit her in the leg and one grazed her head. The boy then shot the child.

West tried to resuscitate her son as bystanders called 911 for help.

Local official is 6th arrest in Georgia baby's shooting

    Glynn County Police Dept.
Brunswick City Commissioner James Henry Brooks, 59, was arrested on Thursday.

By Elizabeth Chuck, Staff Writer, NBC News

The commissioner of a town where a baby was shot to death was arrested Thursday, the sixth arrest since the small Georgia community was shaken by last week's attack.

Brunswick, Ga., city commissioner James Henry Brooks was charged with influencing a witness and willful obstruction of law enforcement officers in the investigation into 13-month-old Antonio Santiago's death, Glynn County Undersheriff Ron Corbett said.

Brooks, 59, was still in jail Friday because no bond had been set for the charge of influencing a witness, Corbett said. A bond of $1,256 was set on the other charge.

Antonio's mother, Sherry West, says she was on her morning walk last Friday when two teens came up to her and demanded money. When she told them she didn't have any cash, she says, the older teen shot Antonio in the head and her in the leg. Her injury was not life-threatening.

Brooks' charges stem from a Monday courthouse incident in which he allegedly tried to block a county investigator from speaking with the mother of De'Marquis Elkins, one of the suspects in the case, reported NBC affiliate WTLV.com.

Brooks was also indicted on unrelated racketeering charges in neighboring Camden County earlier Thursday, The Florida Times-Union reported. He was charged with taking money and influencing others in the local government from 2009 to 2011, the paper reported.

Corbett, the Glynn County undersheriff, confirmed Brooks was indicted, but couldn't confirm the details.

Authorities investigating baby Antonio's death arrested suspects Elkins, 17, and Dominique Lang, 15, last Friday. Over the course of this week, they also arrested Elkins' mother, aunt, and sister for tampering with evidence.

Elkins' sister, Sabrina, 19, and mother, Karimah, 36, are still in custody, without the possibility of bond.

A handgun was discovered about two miles away from the crime scene, submerged a marsh, the Brunswick police spokesman said yesterday. On Friday, Corbett said that Elkins' mother, Karimah, who is still in custody, faces a second charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, but said he couldn't elaborate on the charge.

The only eyewitness to the shooting was Antonio's mother. West said when she insisted she didn't have any money on her, the older of the two teens pointed a handgun at her.

"He says, 'Well, I'm gonna kill your baby,'" West said last week. "I put my arms over my baby and he shoves me. And then he shot my baby right in the head."

Both teens have been charged as adults.

Brunswick commissioner indicted on racketeering charges

James Brooks accused of taking money to help applicants get police jobs, permits and liquor licenses

    Posted: March 28, 2013 - 5:26pm | Updated: March 29, 2013 - 1:42am

    Brooks

    By Terry Dickson

WOODBINE - Brunswick City Commissioner James Henry Brooks Sr. was indicted Thursday on racketeering and other charges in Camden County.

The six-count indictment returned by a county grand jury says Brooks induced applicants for city police jobs, liquor licenses and permits to pay him to influence other officials on their behalf.

In addition to the racketeering charge, Brooks is charged with three counts of violating his oath of office and two counts of using his position to influence another officer or employee of the city.

The indictment was returned around noon. Just after 5 p.m., Brooks was arrested in Brunswick and booked into the Glynn County jail on charges of influencing a witness and obstruction of an officer in the investigation of the March 21 shooting death of 13-month-old Antonio Angel Santiago on a city street, officials said. Brooks remained in jail Thursday night.

In laying the groundwork for a violation of the state Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, the indictment says that from March 12, 2009, until Dec. 31, 2011, Brooks undertook acts that constituted extortion by taking money to his perform official acts as a city commissioner and influencing others in Brunswick city government.

The indictment asserts Brooks undertook the following acts that constitute racketeering:

In August 2010, Brooks took $300 from Marquis Knight in Camden County with a promise that he could have Knight’s criminal record expunged so that he could be hired as a Brunswick police officer.

Brooks later attempted to influence Brunswick police recruiter A.J. Robinson and then Police Chief Edna Johnson to hire Knight.

In July or August, 2010, Brooks took $500 from city police applicant Joseph Mungin in Glynn County also with the promise he would have Mungin’s criminal record expunged.

Sometime from Aug. 25 through Dec. 31, 2011, Brooks took $1,200 from Bruce Irving in Glynn County to help Irving and a partner obtain a city liquor license to operate a club called Lounge 323.

Between March 12, 2009, and Sept. 30, 2009, Brooks took $2,000 from Travis Riddle to help Riddle obtain the city permits and licenses he needed to open the Locker Room in Brunswick.

Because at least one exchange of money occurred in Camden County, Georgia law allows a grand jury seated there to hear evidence and indict.
Brooks was arrested in Camden County more than a year ago on charges of bribery, misdemeanor theft by deception and using his position to influence another government official, a felony.

Camden County Magistrate Jennifer Lewis conducted a hearing in February 2012 at which she dismissed the bribery charge but found probable cause for the others. She set bail at $12,700, which Brooks’ supporters posted.

He was released by the Camden County Sheriff’s Office but transferred to jail in Glynn County where he was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

The District Attorney’s Office has asserted Brooks was convicted of felonies in the 1980s and that state officials can find no record of a restoration of his civil rights to vote or own a firearm.

District Attorney Jackie Johnson declined to comment Thursday, saying, “The indictment speaks for itself.”

Brooks said Thursday he would not comment until he had spoken with his attorney.

The indictment points out that on June 29, 2007, Brooks refused to sign a pledge that the mayor, other city commissioners and city manager all signed. The pledge says, in part, that city elected officials will not be granted privileges or consideration not provided to all other citizens in the enforcement of city laws, ordinances, regulations, policies and procedures.

Camden County Sheriff Jim Proctor says he understands a first appearance bench warrant has been issued for Brooks and that he will be allowed to surrender.
