Kit Bond should be an easy squeeze.

How can Bond vote yes when the Democrat from MO is voting no? This is a conservative state. Ask him every day next week if he will commit to a no vote for cloture, ask him why shouldn't I give money to the MO Democratic Party, since she's committed to voting no. Tell him you're going to give a dollar to the Dems, and you're going to tell the MO GOP why.

    MO Dems https://www.missouridems.org/secure/contribute.asp

I've also thought Evan Bayh and Bob Casey should be easy no votes, because Indiana Dems won 4 close house races last year, and Penn Dems won 4 close races as well.

    Some Calls

I called the entire list of Senators and left voice messages. Most of the voicemail boxes for the ones mentioned by Numbers USA were full.

Everyone should be calling the Democratic Senators and reminding them that this bill is a great betrayal of American workers for cheap labor for big business. I have been asking "how they can align themselves with Bush against the American worker for special interests?" Most pro-labor democrats seem to be holding their noses when looking at this bill, I think a few just need a very small excuse to vote against it. We can pull some unexpected votes from that direction if we lobby them hard enough.

EVERYONE- In case you haven't read this yet, let the following quote from US News & World Report that discusses the Bush administration's plan to ram amnesty down our throats motivate you to work harder than ever today and throughout this coming week! Spread the word, tell your family and friends to get involved! CALL, FAX, E-MAIL, VISIT ETC. !

"This week will basically be the last chance to pass immigration reform in this administration," says one activist, "and the administration is using every card they've got."
