Blue State Blues: The DACA ‘Kids’ Have Changed My Mind About Amnesty
    Breitbart News

This week, illegal aliens stormed Capitol Hill and demanded that Congress legalize President Barack Obama’s unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, as well as the broader “Dream Act.”

They were outraged that Democrats caved to President Donald Trump and the GOP by re-opening the government on Monday without legalizing DACA or providing legal status for millions of “Dreamers” who came to the U.S. as minors.

But the DACA “kids” did not simply lobby elected representatives, as Americans typically do.

Instead, they staged a mock funeral in the Capitol building at which they accused Republicans of “killing the dreams of our people.” They invaded and occupied the Senate office of Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) — who actually favors amnesty for “Dreamers” — and shouted “F*ck this conservative! F*ck this person!” as the bewildered staff looked on helplessly. The “Dreamers” even hurled racial abuse at Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), whom they accused of “white passing.”

Not content with attacking Republicans, the DACA “kids”also protested outside the home of Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), chanting in Spanish and English: “If he won’t let us dream, we won’t let him sleep.”

Similarly, in September, DACA activists crashed a press conference by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and demanded amnesty for all illegal aliens in the U.S. — not just the “Dreamers”: “All of us — or none of us!”

Any journalist who has covered DACA or “Dreamer” events in recent years has witnessed the same behavior. The activists behave as if they are entitled to amnesty.

They threaten Republicans with political “extinction.” They hound Democrats who do not bow to their whims. They address crowds in Spanish and shout “¡Viva Mexico!”.

That is not the behavior of people who are just like every other American except for the accident of foreign birth. In fact, the only Americans that the DACA activists resemble are the “college crybullies” who throw violent tantrums when conservatives show up on campus and demand “safe spaces” where they never face opposing views. Many DACA activists openly support notions of “Brown Power.” Their real “dream” is reclaiming California for Mexico.

Of course, the self-appointed representatives of the “Dreamers” do not represent every one of the 800,000 or so DACA beneficiaries.

A few weeks ago, Breitbart News Tonight interviewed “David,”a DACA recipient who wants to end the diversity visa lottery, to eliminate chain migration, and to pass e-verify.

But the more reasonable DACA beneficiaries are either too few in number or too intimidated to come forward, because we almost never see them.

As such, the best case against legalizing DACA is the behavior of the DACA beneficiaries themselves.

They show no respect for democracy or the legislative process. They declare America to be racist and unjust even as they demand the “right” to become American citizens. They are guests in the country, but they act as if their demands are more important than the urgent needs of American citizens and legal immigrants.

Bizarrely, after a day of radical protests, Trump proposed to legalize 1.8 million “Dreamers” — more than twice the number of DACA beneficiaries.

Instead, he should have taken legalization off the table until the “kids” behave.

Personally, I was once open to legalizing DACA in return for a border wall (first), and other provisions.

But the DACA “kids” have convinced me that we should only consider legalization on a case-by-case basis, if at all.

If we reward their tactics, we will not acquire new countrymen, but new bullies.

I guess I have always thought differently on the "dreamers".
I think the parents put these "kids" in their present condition. I feel no responsibility for their plight. I look at the parents as child abusers for doing this to the "kids". The responsible thing to do is to place them into the care of their government to find relatives that won't abuse them.

They are lawless! They came here and got away with it. They came here attended our schools FREE with free breakfast, lunch, tuition. They steal our identities, they steal our welfare and food stamps. They commit crime, rape, murder, take jobs, destroy neighborhoods. They get in car accidents and get to walk away!

Our Governors, Mayors, Police Departments, Judges let them walk away scott free to commit more crimes.

Our own Government empowered these violent barbarians and now they spit in our face, give us the finger as they get their diplomas on stage. Now they are rioting in our streets, disrupting our government offices...protesting at peoples private residence.

GET EACH AND EVER ONE OF THEM HELL OFF OUR SOIL! CUT OFF ALL FREEBIES INCLUDING SCHOOL AND HEALTHCARE!

WE DO NOT WANT THESE VIOLENT VERMIN TO BECOME U.S. CITIZENS OR HAVE A PATH TO STAY HERE.

GO ACT LIKE THAT IN THE SHITHOLE COUNTRY YOU CAME FROM...THAT IS WHY IT IS A SHITHOLE! BECAUSE OF YOU, YOUR CULTURE, YOUR ATTITUDE AND YOUR LAWLESSNESS.

NOW SELL OUT, PACK UP AND GET OUT!

I HOPE THEY ARE APPREHENDED AND DEPORTED WITH NOTHING!

    NO DEAL!

PROTECT AMERICANS...NOT DREAMERS WHO HAVE TURNED OUR COUNTRY INTO A NIGHTMARE!
NO DACA - NO AMNESTY - NO PATH TO STAY - LET WORK PERMITS EXPIRE

HAND UAC'S OVER INTO THE CARE AND CUSTODY OF THEIR EMBASSY!

I am with you and Beezer. Enough is Enough. You are right to say their parents have abused them. So have the Demoncrat Party. They have used children was wedges to support and continue the ethnic dilution of this country. What we are facing is that numerous people here, in our country, are committing Treason. Treason is all around us.

I was for a compromise--but now, no. After seeing their behavior, they all need to be deported.

Welcome to ALIPAC boomslang. I agree that this is all on their parents and I feel no need to make it right for them, specially when they demand and act like communist/socialist thugs. I don't think that a blanket DACA deal based simply on age is right. The propaganda about their collective success and brilliance are grossly overstated. Only 5% of them are college graduates and those are the ones that get trotted out for the cameras. They don't mention the ones that are running drugs, involved in gangs, or that have dropped out school and are already producing children on welfare.

You are right boomslang that the parents are the ones responsible for those brought as children. They and their governments should resolve their futures going forward. Many of them came as young teenagers on their own as we know. There are gang members, drug runners, other criminals running free.

There is rampant disrespect and a flawed thinking within the illegal alien population. They believe the American people and the government should meet their demands and that we should pay their way. They send their monies out of America in remittances which again robs the nation of dollars for our own citizens and the nation.

Thank you for your comment and Welcome to Alipac.

Go Beezer! Give them hell! You got me all riled up. Patriots, united, speaking with one voice, we are mighty far beyond our numbers. We will be a force that can not be denied. Keep the White House comments line: 1 202 456 1111, see I have it memorized, keep the line tied up all day, every day, indefinitely. It's time to take our country back, and DACA is the hill to die on. This is the watershed battle that will turn the tide in our favor. To the ramparts patriots! Charge to the sound of the cannons! Can you feel the adrenaline? That is the exhilarating feeling of victory!

Trumps bloated ego is out of control. It's time to smack him down to size. He thinks he made us, but it is we who made him, and we can unmake him. He thinks he can shove DACA down or throat because the alternative will be Chuchy Schumer (I hope I have misspelled his name). We don't need Trump or any politician; all we need is each other; united with one voice we are an irresistible force because we are a cause, an idea, a long suffering people whose time has come. They can not stop us anymore then they can stop people from loving freedom and their cherished homeland. This is our home; now kick the nightmare DACA squatters the hell out of our house.

If you can not get through to the comments line, call your Senators and Representative and explain you can't get through to the White House and ask them to transmit your message to the President for you. And that call will do double work for you. Congressional Switchboard 1 202 224 3121. We all know our duty, let's go do it.

This is good. The more episodes like this there are, the more your average citizen will see what these "dreamers" are all about, and start losing sympathy for them.
