RISE UP AND SAY NO


Please join me this Tuesday (July 31) as we will ask the City Council (again, as I did this a few years ago) to STOP AND SAY NO TO PETE WILSON STAUE IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO
they will tell us it’s on private land, but we need to be LOUD AND SAY
BASTA…187…4500 + deaths at the border…hate tv & radio…the Minutemen…raids on our families….and now they want to put up a statue of Pete Wilson (father of 187 and pro-racist movement) …enough basta !!! We need to take a stand….We will also have a rally (tba), send letters to neighboring businesses (especially Horton Plaza & NBC ) to join us in saying no the promoting the HATE CZAR Pete Wilson. We will meet at City Council @ 9:15 am this Tuesday July 31 for 1000 am session. If the statue is rushed over weekend, we will still let our voices be heard, as statues do come down (remember Hussein statue in Iraq) For more info, ideas or to support us please feel free to contact us.

For the third time this decade THE HORTON WALK FOUNDATION is planning on unveiling a PETE WILSON STATUE in downtown San Diego, in the heart of our city, this month! We defeated this effort the first two times, we need to again standup and say BASTA ! NO MAS!

Pete Wilson, to many immigrants in the Latino community and with other
communities represents nothing but HATE & RACISM. Remember proposition 187, remember light up the night hate displays, remember the hate ads before Dobbs, before Roberts, before Roger & other hate mongers. PETE WILSON is the grandfather of them all. His hate has lead to 4500 deaths at the border, raids upon our families, the rise of hate groups like the KKK & minutemen and now San Diego will have a statue in his honor? Who`s next Adolf Hitler?

We have quickly gone from "America's Finest City" to "America`s Most Racist City" say no to HORTON PLAZA, NO TO PETE WILSON & NO TO THE CONTINUED ATTACKS ON OUR COMMUNITY !

...then I consider Pete Wilson an American hero whose likeness should be painted on both sides of the border fence that runs just below San Diego. That's so the illegals can see him both coming and going.

By the way, everything Pete Wilson accomplished (and that was a LOT) is nearly gone....thanks to bad governing since then!

And the "bandits" whine because they want to put up a statute of the "marshall." What do you expect, he tried to have the laws enforced. They certainly don't want any laws that would prevent them getting their freebies!

I am wriiting this letter to ask for your support for a statue to commemorate Governor Pete Wilson.

As mayor of San Diego, Wilson transformed the city to an international trade hub. He helped amend the city charter to make public safety the first and foremost responsibility of city government and lead an effort to manage San Diego's dynamic growth and to revitalize the city's downtown area.
He substantially cut the property tax rate and imposed a limit on the growth of the city budget that became a model for California's subsequently adopted Proposition 13.

As a governor, he helped enact the "Three Strikes" Law. Wilson insisted on strict budget discipline and worked to rehabilitate the state's environment for investment and new job creation. On education, Wilson also enactedreforms focused on creating curricular standards, reducing class sizes, and replacing social promotion with early remedial education.

Give Governor Wilson proper respect by supporting a statue on Horton's City Walk.
