    Border Fence: public comments (deadline this Monday!)

    Comments and related material must reach the CBP by October 15, 2007. CBP will consider all comments and material received during the NOI comment period. If you submit a comment, please include your name and address, and identify your comments as for the San Diego Sector EIS. Comments received after October 15, 2007 will receive responses following the publication of the draft EIS.

    I don't understand why they are seeking comments and opinions on the fence. It has already been decided in congress that the fence will be built. Whats this all about? Are they hoping that they will get enough negative comments about it by the pro-illegals and somehow the law will get reversed? I smell a rat.

    I just read the article at the link you provided

    To me, it's not asking if we want the fence built. It's asking if you have any ideas, questions on what type of fence will be built. Am I right or am I just confused.
