Border Patrol Betraying Minutemen? Demand It STOP!

We are moving so will not be online till after Monday but wanted to post this email I just got.

This is a SPECIAL MESSAGE from Stephen Frank's "California Political News and Views":

This is a SPECIAL MESSAGE from Stephen Frank's "California Political News and Views" and RightMarch.com:

ALERT: Have you heard the news reports? While Minuteman civilian patrols are keeping an eye out for illegal border crossers, the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are!

According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS -- and it MUST STOP NOW!!!

Our own government... BETRAYING volunteer U.S. citizens on our nation's border, who are doing nothing more than sitting in lawn chairs, looking through binoculars, and calling in sightings of illegal aliens to the Border Patrol.

    But it gets worse.

News reports detailing how the U.S. Border Patrol has been disclosing locations and background information of Minuteman activities along the border to Mexican officials have now broadened in scope. The reports obtained from the Mexican government include an August 2005 document, "Third Report on the Activities of Vigilantes" -- posted on Mexico's Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site -- suggesting U.S. officials were giving out more details than plausibly required by the Vienna Convention. Part of that information included reports on activities in the interior of the United States in locations such as Illinois, Nevada, Utah, Massachusetts and Tennessee.

So, the initial reports appear to be only the tip of the iceberg. The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps has been warning people that our government has no intention of taking the necessary steps to secure our borders, and it now appears that the U.S. government has proactively taken steps to ensure that the open border status quo is maintained. At best, the report on the Mexican consulate website exposes widespread espionage, and systematic spying against free and law-abiding American citizens, on the part of the Mexican government -- with or without U.S. government assistance.

WE MUST NOT SIT STILL FOR THIS!!!

TAKE ACTION: If you're like me, you're FURIOUS right now. But don't blame the Border Patrol agents on the ground there -- I was there on the border as a Minuteman, and I can tell you that those agents are GRATEFUL for our help. Blame their bureaucratic bosses. In fact, T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, a union representing more than 10,000 Border Patrol agents, said agents have complained for years about the Mexican consulate's influence over the agency.

"It worries me (that the Mexican government) seems to be unduly influencing our enforcement policies. That's not a legitimate role for any foreign nation," Bonner told the "Daily Bulletin," though he added, "It doesn't surprise me."

It's unbelievable that our own government agency is sending intelligence to another country. They're sending intelligence to a nation where corruption runs rampant, and that could be getting into the hands of criminal cartels. They just basically endangered the lives of American people.

Those bureaucrats at U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a division of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) under Secretary Michael Chertoff, don't seem to care about TRULY securing our nation's borders. Once again, YOU AND I need to MAKE them care! We need to join with courageous Congressmen like Darrell Issa, Duncan Hunter and John Culberson in telling Sec. Chertoff to put an end to this nonsense. Click below NOW to send a FREE message directly to DHS, DEMANDING that they CEASE AND DESIST their treacherous tip-offs of the brave volunteers in the Minutemen to the corrupt Mexican government:

NOTE: As Pat Buchanan puts it, "It is one thing for the president to support open borders. It is quite another thing for the administration to aid and abet illegal aliens." This news is HUGE. For more info:

Be sure to send this Alert to EVERYONE you know who wants to DEMAND that the U.S. government STOP tipping off the Mexican government and betraying the Minutemen on our borders. Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    William Greene, President
