Thread: Border Patrol is recruiting....

I heard the head of BHS this Chertoff giving an interview on Spanish television and he was actually apologizing for deporting illegals saying "...it is my job...". Why the apologetic tone?

Anyway, I have seen billboards here in Denver and large ads in several newspapers recruiting for the border patrol.

They are recruiting which is good! 18 to 39 with the potential to earn $70,000 in three years the ads say.......

It was kind of dumb for Chertoff to apologize. I have seen similar ads in New Mexico. I have a close friend who is getting out of the Marines in 8 months and he is considering becoming a BP agent when he moves back here. I told them that it is great that he wants to protect our borders. He's very against illegal immigration and believes that the law should be enforced all the time.
