.My apologies. The box directly below this statement is the link to the picture that belongs here and makes it all make sense. If I were a better computer person, I could make it open and stay open. I am not and cannot. Please click it to see for yourself.

THE BORDER FENCE -
Is a collection of several barriers to prevent Illegals from across Our Southern Border. The barriers were built as part of 3 larger "Operations' to taper transportation of illegal drugs manufactured in Latin America and Illegal Immigration. They were:
"OPERATION GATEKEEPER"....... in California
"OPERATION HOLD THE LINE" .. in Texas
"OPERATION SAFEGUARD"........ in Arizona

The barriers are strategically placed to mitigate the flow of illegal crossings along the International Border into the Southern United States.

Construction supporters cite the ongoing escalation of national security risks, relating to Cartel Border Violence and their possible cooperation with overseas terrorists.

Opponents claim the barriers are a taxpayer "boondoggle" an ineffective deterrant and that the barriers inappropriately jeopardize the health and safety seeking "illegal entry" into the United States, as well as "Destroying Animal Habitat" preventing animals from reaching water, disturb animal migration patterns, and otherwise damage the environment.

BARRIER STATUS
U.S. Representative, Duncan Hunter, a Republican from California, and then Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, proposed a plan to the house on 3 November 2005 calling for construction of a reinforced fence along the entire United States - Mexican Border. This would also incude a 100 yard (91 m) border zone on the United States side. On 15 Dec 2005, Congressman Hunter's amendment to the Border Protection , AntiTerrorism and Illegal mandatory Fencing along 698 miles of the Mexican Border.

On 17 May 2006, the U.S. Senate proposed with ......

Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2008 (S. 2611) What would be 370 miles of triple layered fencing and a vehicle fence.

Although the bill died in committee, eventually the Secure Fence Act of 2006 was passed by Congress and signed INTO LAW by George W. Bush on 26 Oct 2006,.

The Government of Mexico and ministers of several Latin American countries have condemned the plans.
(OF COURSE, BECAUSE IT WOULD RESTRICT THEIR FLOW OF DRUGS AND CRIMINALS INTO THE UNITED STATES)

Rick Perry, Governor of Texas,
also expressed his opposition saying that instead of closing the border, it should be opened more and through technology support legal and safe migration.

(THAT WOULD MEAN STRICT ENFORCEMENT OF OUR IMMIGRATION LAWS)

Although just,Governor Perry DID shut down the border in his state to prove to the federal government it could be done. It only lasted until he ran out of money and had to reopen it.

The barrier expansion has so far been opposed by a unanimous vote of the Laredo, Texas City Council. Laredo's Mayor, Raul G. Salinas,
.......is concerned about defending his town's people by saying that the Bill, which contains miles of border wall would devastate Laredo.

He states. . . .
"These are people that are sustaining our economy by 40% and I am gonna close the door on them and put (up) a wall? You don't do that. It's like a slap in the face."

"" 40% of his economy means that 40% of his workforce are ILLEGALS ""

WHERE IN OUR CONSTITUTION IS THAT ALLOWED?
He hopes that Congress would revise the Bill that better reflects the realities of life on the Border.
However, there is a VERY LARGE Border Patrol presence in Laredo, trying to control the overwhelming amount of crime committed by . . .. . . . his ILLEGAL ALIENS.

BOTTOM LINE. . . .

The choice we have to make is between .......

1) Animals that he majority of us have never heard of and that play no role whatsoever in our existence or survival, along with another country dumping their poor, uneducated, and all too often very unhealthy, often pregnant, and of course their CRIMINALS along with their DRUGS, and DRUG DEALERS.

And of course, it includes the millions who ae living off Government Handout Programs that were designed to help OUR PEOPLE and are PAID FOR WITH OUR TAX DOLLARS, and let us not forget the hundreds of millions of American dollars they are sending home, thereby removing the $$$$$$ from OUR UNITED STATES ECONOMY.
OR
2) THE AMERICAN CITIZEN
Our Propety, Our Possessions, Our Family, and of course, OUR VERY LIVES.
Here's just one of thousands of unreported and forgotten consequences of having an open relationship with
A young couple in their late teens went down to Tijuana for a weekend of drinking, getting high, and partying without being restricted in any way by their parents or by any laws.
They met another couple who said they were from LA and really let loose and partied. The other couple told them theyknew of a party just a few blocks away where the drinks were free and the drugs were easy to get. When they arrived there, they were atacked by a half dozen men. The boy was beaten unconscious and tied up. The girl was gang raped repeatedly until she too passed out. They were loaded into a car and dumped in an alley near the border.
They managed to get to the authorities at the border. They gave their statements and their parents were called to come and get them.
Nothing has become of the incident as far as law enforcement is concerned because it happened in Mexico and that's the end of it.
The boy lost half the sight in 1 eye.
The girl will never be able to have children.
These same things are happening here on this side of the border, but are mostly not reported because no one wants to be called a RACIST.

WE MUST PUT A STOP TO THIS AND THE FIRST STEP IS TO CLEAN OUT THE SENATE THIS NOVEMBER AND ELECT INDIVIDUALS WHO WILL TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AND START ENFORCING THE AMERICAN LAWS ALREADY ON THE BOOKS.

Please watch for the next edition of this series:

H.R. 6001. . . The Secure Fence Act of 2006 and
Rethinking the Expansion.
