PLEASE OPPOSE THE "EMPLOYEE FREE CHOICE ACT OF 2009" (CARD CHECK)

By telephone calls, conservative Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) is helping mobilize national opposition to the "Employee Free Choice Act of 2009" in conjunction with the National Right to Work Committee. This legislation (also called the "Card Check Bill") would eliminate secret ballots for individual workers in union organization drives. According to Sen. DeMint's call today, this bill now has been "fast-tracked", and a vote may come up at any time. DeMint says that the ultimate goal is to repeal all "right to work" legislation currently in effect in individual states. He requests that you contact your Representative and Senators in opposition.
