Thread: Both of Oregon's Senators Lied About e-Verify

During his campaign, Oregon's Junior Senator Jeff Merkley blasted then-Senator Gordon Smith for having illegal aliens on his company's payroll and for refusing to use e-Verify to make sure his company was not hiring illegals. I agree with Merkley on his campaign position. Unfortunately, that didn't last after this scumbag got elected.

He voted against e-Verify yesterday.

Recently, at a town hall meeting held in Salem, Oregon on Saturday, February 21, Senator Ron Wyden stated that he supports the E-Verify program.

He also voted against e-Verify yesterday.

Yes, both Wyden and Merkley voted to table Senator Jeff Session’s amendment 604 that would have extended E-Verify for five years. Maybe in Washington DC that is not considered lying, but to regular folks there is no better term to describe what they did.

If you have a few minutes, even if you don't live in Oregon, give them both a call and let the know you think each of them are liars. They care so little about what citizens think, they don't even ask if you are a constituent or where you are from.

Please help your fellow citizen. Oregon is getting killed by the fall of California. More and more illegals are flocking here because our Governor welcomes them with open arms.

I had some nifty words for this dolt, went to the website and got the following message:

If you are traveling or on active duty, please fill out the form with an Oregon address and provide your current address within the message. If you are not from Oregon, I urge you to contact one of the Senators from your home state.

Nice that those from across the country sharing the same problems as your constituents have no input, because of your duplicity or being able to offer experiences or a solution. Just being elected does not mean that everything constituents voted for in that election is not important, and can be turned over at the whim of a single individual.

I wouldn't be surprised if Oregon's two Senators get more calls from illegal aliens than from US citizens. And these liars probably don't care that there is a BIG difference.
