Thread: Boycott Margaritas because of Mariano Martinez

Take this Mariano, how about America without a Margarita!!!!!!!!!!!

Mariano Martinez, inventor of the frozen margarita is closing his restaurants, for a Day Without a Mexican on May 1st.
America gave him so much and this is how he is repaying us.

Don't buy Margaritas, he owns the patens on the machines and most likely supplies products that go into the machines.

The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History recently acquired the 34-year-old machine, adding it to a collection that includes cultural markers ranging from the original Star-Spangled Banner to Tupperware wonder bowls.

Daiquiris are fine with me. Jose Cuervo has made it onto my boycott list. And Margarita, Tequila Sunrises, not anymore. And tell your friends who take cruises to do so in America or the Carribean!

Bad thing is, they might make Daiquiris in the same machine that they make Margaritas in.

Ok I can handle the Chicken. BK and Micky D's boycott but no margarita's? What is this world coming to. If I can't Drink I will loose my mind. I can’t face the word with out my Ice cold margaritas. Well I will just have to have a southern hurricane instead. As American as it gets. Must be twenty one to read below.

Southern Comfort
Sweet & Sour Mix
Orange Juice
Pineapple Juice
Splash of Grenadine


Mix over ice in a hurricane glass and garnish with an orange wedge and a cherry.
Add Southern Comfort.
Fill with lemon-lime soda, add grenadine, and stir.
