Thread: Brazilian priest: MOST of us OPPOSE Illegal immigration

My Brazilian friend's Brazilian Catholic priest not only OPPOSES ILLEGAL immigration, he SPEAKS OUT against it. However, he has to be VERY careful to attack ONLY the ISSUE, NOT the pro-illegal bishops and other like-minded Catholic leaders. For instance, he denounces SUPPORT for illegal immigration, but TAKES care NOT to criticize the BISHOPS and others who support illegal immigration. The Brazilian priest has reasssured me MANY times, "DON'T believe for a MINUTE that MOST American and legal resident Catholic priests support illegal immigration! In fact, MOST of us DON'T! The problem is, most of us FEAR to SAY anything against illegal immigration because of what the BISHOPS might do to us!" Despite the dangers, however, THIS priest KEEPS on SPEAKING OUT for OUR country! And HE is among my GREATEST heroes!

Most the legal brazilians oppose invaders and love this country but the one who are illegals they support them and they are enemies of this country.
